Only update is that last week the doctor wanted to move forward with scheduling an induction date, so I am going in 9/13 which is only a few days before my due date. So only 2.5 weeks and we will finally be meeting our little one. Now I'm starting to get nervous!
Have a few things left to do to get ready. Need to pack my hospital bag, pick out one or two going home outfits to take (not sure whether we will need newborn or larger, so will take different sizes), need to get car seat installed in my car, and that should pretty much get us where we need to be. Have to put a few more things away in the nursery and wash a couple of items, but then I'm all done. Whew! Oh and need to take a few walks with the stroller and dog to get her used to walking with it. I expect a major freakout when we attempt this! She is so nervous/scared of anything new or different. All the changes going on in the baby's room have her curious so she knows something is up!
We have another acid reflux baby. Madeline has been on zantac for about a week now and is doing much better. She seems to not be in pain while eating and is a happier baby in general. She has STTN two times this week which has been great! I know it's just a fluke, but it is a nice break from waking up every three hours. She has started smiling at me all the time and it melts my heart everytime! Also, she is now 1 month old! I cannot believe how quickly she is growing already!
MacKenzie was SUPPOSED to start pre-school today, but because of this horribly, terrifying (ya right) hurricane out there, it was cancelled. She is so excited to be going and I am so excited for her to go! She loves playing with other kids and singing, so I know she is going to have a blast!
As you can see by my very large siggy pic (can't figure out how to adjust the size), we had our newborn pictures taken the other day. They turned out great! tinyurl.com/94ugcq8

Chugging along nicely here. I can't believe I have 4 weeks left (give or take).
We moved the bed out of the (quasi) nursery this weekend, and into my office / guest bedroom so the parental units have a place to stay when they invade, I mean, come to help, after Samantha's birth.
I feel so much better, and my office is actually more cozy now. I can reach over and pet Lucky and give her kisses right from my desk since the bed is, uh, very tightly fit in here. I just hope she doesn't start snoring when I'm on a call.
I want to move a couple things around the "nursery" for the time being, and I'm anxiously awaiting my glider to arrive and then we'll be set.
Went to the water birth class last Wednesday and we have our birth classes the next two weekends. Yeah, we are kinda late on the whole deal, but we'll get it done.
In non-baby, but exciting news, we are under contract for a house.

Kennedy is doing really great adjusting to being a big sister. She is gentle with him almost all the time Nd she loves to give him kisses. She will just come right p to him and kiss his head or foot, and when he cries she goes over to him to see what's wrong. It's so completely adorable. She's also doing really well walking with her push toys, hopefully it won't be long before I have a walker! Speech is still slow going. Though I had sort of moved away from working on signing at the suggestion of our speech therapist, and she started signing eat and more this weekend!
Caleb is doing well too, he sleeps great at night, only waking up every few hours to be "topped off" - the best part of breastfeeding, I slide him over, give him boob and go back to sleep. He was back up to his birthweight last week. He's becoming a little more laid back, but nothing like Kennedy was!
In other news, we're moving. Most likely in January. H got a promotion and we have to move to Raleigh. I'm really sad to be leaving all of my friends here. And I can't imagine having to find a new midwife for babies 3, 4 and 5. Plus new therapy providers, etc. We knew relocation was very likely, it's just hitting me hard now that it's a reality. Until we move, H will be gone Sunday afternoon - Friday night. I sort of feel like a single mom. At least that will be better once we move.
I'm still bleeding, although it's a lot lighter, and mostly brownish - so I'm hoping everything is just clearing out and the tear is healing up. I started looking at childbirth classes for the November/December timeframe, but I can't bring myself to "pull the trigger" on signing up until at least after my next appointment.
My beautiful sweet charming dear daughter slept over 13 hours straight last night! I went to bed with her dear dad, woke up with him, listened to the soft rain with him in between;). I love Isaac! I might name my first son that very name. (insert Bible story here, Isaac was Sara's first son, born far after her healthy child bearing days. And it means laughter because she laughed in disbelief when she found out she was pregnant being so old). Dear god, I hope a son wasn't conceived last night!!!

Well, my sweet boy is now 4.5. His first day of official Pre-K was cancelled. Its no big deal to him, its the same place he's been going since he was 2.5 for daycare/school/aftercare/summer care/whatever you want to call it. But I'm very excited about his teacher this year, after having not the best teacher last year. Plus I'm co-Room Mom this year, woo-hoo!
He is also very excited to be going to see his Nana and Papa on Wednesday. We haven't seen my parents since his birthday in February. My mom had titanium rods put in her neck about 10 days ago, so this visit will probably be more low-key than normal. Q's just excited about Papa taking him to Steak N Shake.

dvroxy, love the pics! Your siggy pic is gorgeous. What pretty girls you have!
aegis, still thinking of you! Glad to hear things are slowing down.
Not much new here. Ellie will be 5 months old on Wednesday and I can't believe it. She still can't roll from her belly to her back so she's still waking up a bunch in the mornings by flipping herself over and getting mad. Not a fan of that. She has also started pinching, especially while nursing. Don't love that either. But, she's really a lot of fun lately - lots of smiles, lots of laughs! I love to play with her and see her smile. She's also working on sitting on her own, but she's not quite there yet!
We also went to a new mom's group for moms in my apartment building last week that was really nice. We just all met up for a little playdate at a local park. Ellie had a blast and I'm excited to go again this week!

Just got home from the high risk dr. Lauryl was sticking her tongue out and hiccuping during her ultrasound and it was adorable! She is weighing 4lbs right now, which is so awesome (especially if she comes early). Dr gave me a lot of praise for making it this far and staying on bed rest. Really made me feel good!
Tomorrow we are getting new carpet installed in the nursery and hallway. DH's parents bought our nursery furniture which is very generous. I also order this cherry blossom wall decal for the accent wall in the nursery. Can't wait to see it all come together!!
Mia is four months old today. She learned how to roll back to belly and now she is not sleeping through the night anymore because she wakes up and gets pissed that she can't roll back onto her back. I feel your pain mrsmew. We put her in the jumperoo for the first time yesterday for a little bit and she had a blast.
Heading to TX Wednesday to see my family, hoping all goes well on the plane. She did great in June, but she was much less aware and active then.
Zoe learned a few new things in CT when we visited the in-laws. When you say "strike a pose" she takes one or both of her hands and puts them sort of on her hip/behind her back a little. It is so cute! She also said her cousin's name (Maya), but she says "Yaya." Like a Greek grandmother, lol! It is so cute because now every time she sees a teenager with long brown hair (her cousin is 13) she says, "Yaya." LOL!
We told our families about Baby Speck (that's the nickname since the baby looks like a speck on the u/s). I was a little nervous about telling them so early, but it's nice to not have to worry about slipping up accidentally. I had to catch myself so many times before we told them that I really thought I was going to blab before the official announcement. Unfortunately I had to tell my family over the phone, but they are in NC and CO now and we couldn't go to 3 places to tell everyone.
I am sort of having more symptoms, like bouts of nausea. Then I get really hungry like I haven't eaten in days. It is so crazy! I am so completely and utterly exhausted. I worked Friday and Saturday night (I normally don't do 2 in a row) and I don't think I have completely recovered from it yet. I have to work tonight and Thurs, and one of my brothers is coming to visit on Wednesday. I wish someone could come watch Z for me for an entire week while I slpet. I thought I would get more rest in CT, but his family slept in late and she was very clingy too. Sigh.

Sara- that's hilarious. Mrs. mew- Maisy was a pincher while nursing. To the point is made nursing miserable for a while. She's pretty much outgrown it now though, thank goodness.
We entered the "wants to do everything her big brother does" phase with Maisy. Dinner time has become fun, because she won't sit in her high hair or booster (although she will for meals and snack when he isn't around). And she has to have the exact same thing on her plate as he does. If he pulls up a barstool so he can watch or help me cook, she has to too- and then she is into everything! But it is so cute watching her mimic so much of what Beckett does. Beyond that we've been dealing more molar teething fun combined with a little cold, so lots of snot, drool, crankiness and waking up throughout the night. Last night she slept for 12 hours for the first time in ages and when I woke up on my own and it was daylight, I felt like something was wrong.
