I went on a date with guy from tinder and it was fun but I haven't heard from him since and I trying not to get my hopes up that he will contact me. I don't think we had an attraction.

How was everyone's weekend?
Mine was pretty good. My friends took me out to dinner and dancing Saturday for my birthday (which was Monday). I love going out dancing! LOVE IT! My friend D planned it all. I have mentioned before I have two close groups of friends. D invited a few of my girlfriends from the other group (one doesn't live in state, and one he just doesn't like, so he only invited the two he likes). Only one of them came. The other one he invited and I have been having issues, so, it kind of spoke volumes to me that she didn't come.
Sunday H and I went to a basketball game. It was great! Only ONE problem: the people next to H were racist. I think I have mentioned before that H is half Persian. His last name gets him "randomly chosen" for airport screening quite often. Anyway, someone walked by wearing a headdress and the guy was all, "Looks like ISIS is here." Which pissed H off to no end. His grandparents were Muslim and some of the kindest people ever. They ran a sandwich shop and when his grandmother found out homeless people were eating out of the shop trash, she set up a table for them and would make sandwiches for homeless people at lunch and before closing. It kind of put a damper on the evening.
My car broke down Saturday when DS and I were on our way to a Christmas parade. STBXH was all put out that he had to pick us up.
Then I had plans to go out Saturday night for a couple weeks. He "forgot" and made plans to go out too. With my car broken, the only possible solution for me to go out is him to cancel his plans. And that didn't happen. Still have not had a night out since August, which was probably only the 5th time since DS was born that I got a night out.
jojoandleo, glad you had a great birthday weekend and I hate that those people were racist jerks! Eureka1984, was there something you liked about him that makes you want to hear from again? I'm curious since you said there wasn't an attraction.
I've got laundry going right now. I'm waiting for breakfast to digest so I can go for my long run. I feel sooo tired today for no reason, but I'm going to make myself do stuff. I need to go by BB&W for a gift, make some soup for the week, and other random things.
My cat is in a state this morning...so damn meowy. He wasn't happy until I got into bed where he curled into the crook of my shoulder. Now he's moved back down to the bed. I guess he just wanted me to relax, lol.
Oh, also...I freaking love 98 Degrees' Christmas album. So perfectly cheesy. It reminds me of being 13/14 again.
jojoandleo happy late bday and wow@ the people next to you guys .
I was really sick all weekend, almost no voice at all on Saturday and had to not go to my work holiday party.
I also ended up having to cancel my trip to Dallas and I am super sad about it. His work sucks and basically unless he has PTO scheduled they can schedule him to work any days they want. He works 12 hour shifts and is supposed to have every other Fri-Sun off, but they scheduled him to work this Fri and Sunday. His only day off will be Saturday, so 72 hours in one week. Great for his wallet, but no point in me using 2 pto days and flying down there to basically spend 1 night with him. I already have a trip booked for Jan 7th, but I wanted to see him before Christmas. We were going to go look at Christmas lights and an NBA game and we can't do either of those in Jan .
I didn't plan enough fun this weekend, I think. And today I have to spend all day waiting for the gas people to come to turn my gas back on - finally!! I need to find a better balance between my work time and actually getting out and seeing people.
I had a really fun weekend. I went to a Kings hockey game with a girlfriend, which was great. We had awesome seats and we both have the same level of interest in the game, so I didn't feel bad about commenting on cute jerseys or weird facial hair or random life stuff - I feel bad when I go to sporting events with people who actually like to really watch the sport. LOL.
Then Saturday evening Vegas and I went to a special holiday screening of Elf with some of my friends. The theater was one of the oldest in LA and it was beautiful. And seeing Elf in a theater is so much fun. I also realized that I really like watching comedies with Vegas because his laugh is so infectious.
Sunday I just finished decorating my tree and lounged and napped. Perfect kind of weekend if you ask me.
I took today off as my floating holiday, but it's really turned into a work from home half day. I'm going to see if my boss will let me only count this as a half day off so I can use the other half day for New Year's Eve. I really need to figure out a few days off soon, because not taking any time off isn't working for me.
I'm thinking of taking some jewelry and a few electronics to a pawn shop. I don't want to mess with the hassle of trying to sell them through Craigslist, but I would like to make a little money.
I get to see some friends from my old job tonight...can't wait!
My weekend was ok. Dinner with a friend on Friday, work holiday party on Saturday afternoon, saw Krampus on Saturday night. (Spoiler alert: it's terrible!)
Yesterday, Thor and I looked at two houses and then met up with another couple for Indian food.
And today, I am sleepy and grumpy and I wanna go home!

Happy belated birthday!
I also get upset when people talk shit about Muslims. My sister converted to Islam a while ago and she also gets targeted a lot for wearing her hijab. She just brushes it off but it makes me so fucking angry that I am the one to speak up. People ask her, so you are Arab now?

My weekend was OK. We had our holiday party at work. I danced a lot which I had not done in a very long time and it felt good. I woke up the following day with an awful headache as if I had a hang over when the only thing I drank was water.
stephreloaded-That's annoying! My FIL moved here from Iran when he was 17. He gets called Arab a lot, which he is technically Persian, but dark skin and accent = Arabic = terrorist to redneck Oklahomans. Ugh. Most people can't tell H is half Persian unless they read his last name. The first thing my grandpa asked him (because old white men, I swear) was "where are your people from?" But, then grandpa loved him and told him, "We are looking for a new grandson-in-law if you are up to the job!"

I am appalled that people dont even know the difference between an Arab or a Muslim. As soon as I hear that, I know the person is going to just say more stereotypes and dumb stuff. She usually gets asked about bombs. Now that my sister is the US, she gets stereotyped because of her religion and as soon as she says she is Colombia, it's about drugs and cocaine.
I hate that someone changed her name to copy mine - exactly. I go into a panic every freaking time I get tagged in fertility posts. I spent 12+ years dealing with infertility and every tag puts me in a tailspin that I'm going to lose this baby. She changed it again when people got confused on here because she took my ORIGINAL SN exactly and instead just added numbers. I hate it and I'm wicked hormonal...and I cried because of this. ;(
I am working OT again. I'm trying to make it until 8:30, but I have a pounding headache. I've been getting this type of headache a lot and they usually last for several days It focuses just above my right eye, right behind my eyebrow, and runs down to the back of my head. I'm wondering if it possibly is a tension headache?!?
