Make a decision for me (pumping related)

I have a stupid training from 9-10 today. I pump at 930 usually. Should I pump at 10? or 830?

I fed DS at 630. I nurse him between 11-1130.

I can't decide!

I would do 10 unless it will be painful to wait that long. My thinking is you may get a little more milk that way.

I'd do 8:30. You'll replenish in time for nursing, and no possibility for negative impact on your supply.

Does he take both sides at lunch? If so, I'd go ahead and pump so that you don't interfere with that. If only 1 I'm sure there will be enough left even if you pump at 10.

I'd do 8:30. I would rather have a lower than usual pumping session than not have enough for him to nurse when he wants to at 11.

If you don't get enough, could you add another pumping session later in the day to make up for it?

In your situation, I pumped at 8:30. My milk was used to letting down at 9:30 and if I waited until 10+ I would get uncomfortable.

In that case, I would've done 8:30: first, so I'd be comfortable during the meeting and second b/c I'd be more likely to skip a 10 if I knew I'd be doing a feeding an hour later.
