Good morning!

Tonight is my work staff dinner. Yay for free food and good company! I've already went over the menu and I am getting a steak salad...mmm.

This morning, I hit my lowest weight since moving here 2 years ago. I hope to lose 5lbs more by the new year, which will be tricky with the holidays but I plan to try my best!

Yesterday was 4 months since losing H and tomorrow would have been our anniversary. This week has been hard.

I'm so sorry lemons.

After almost two weeks of no heat, hot water, or stove my gas was finally hooked up again last night. I've never been so excited to take a shower in MY apartment.

I got to go to a record store show of Cage the Elephant last night, and everyone got a poster to have signed. The guys in the band were really nice, talking to us, shaking hands, etc. Of course, on the drive home, and all this morning I've been thinking about all the clever things I should have said, instead of a lame reference to the rain we've been getting (it's Seattle; of course we're getting rain).

I just got an email announcing the date that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be opening at Universal Studios Hollywood. April 7, 2016! Yay! I now know what I will be doing on my birthday in May. I hope my friends will consider taking a Friday off with me.

I am trying to come up with an app or dessert to take to a holiday party on Friday. I want it to be something I can put together on Wednesday or Thursday and be delicious, any suggestions? I was thinking Better than Sex cake...or picking up cupcakes from Dots or Sprinkles (tastiest store bought cupcakes ever!)

I actually own Gryffindor robes, tie, and scarf. I also have a time turner necklace that I wear totally seriously at work. I also almost have enough Harry Potter t-shirts to wear one every day of the week without doing laundry. I am super cool...

I woke up with a sore, dry throat. I really hope I am not getting sick because I have a trip to Disneyland this weekend. Going to attempt to soothe my throat with a giant mug of hot chocolate

I got all my weekly assignments for my 5 online classes done. Trying to motivate myself to work on next weeks stuff.

LOL. We may have thrown elbows at each other in the autograph line!
I've only been to West Seattle a couple of times, but I keep forgetting how much I love it there.

I exceeded my fitbit goal today, got some projects done that I had been avoiding and had a long chat with my sister. Feeling pretty productive today!

Got motivated and did the writing assignments for one class so now I dont have anything due until after Christmas. Finished one of my analytics class; I do not like analytics at all. I am going to finish out the other 4 courses and then never ever deal with it again!

Thanks everyone. It'll be hard, but I'll get thru. It's just been a lot of firsts all together...Thanksgiving, then Anniversary, followed by Christmas and New Year's. When I tell people I can't wait til January, they tell me to quit wishing my life away. Nevermind that they're celebrating the holidays with their spouse. :-(

My kid is so angry lately neither one of us knows how to handle it. She is in trouble pretty much every day at school.

XH is claiming that he and his girlfriend are breaking up. This is the third time he's told me that so I will believe it when I see it, but it feels more real this time.
I'm really worried how this will affect my kids because they have spent every other weekend at her house for the last 5 months and it has only been 10 months since our divorce.

I think once the holidays are over I might try online dating. We'll see.
