Aw, poor Mike. I really liked him.

What a freakin' heartbreaking moment when he had to decide between running and leaving his grandkid alone in the park.

I kinda knew what was going to happen as soon as they were all in Sal's office talking. If somebody rolls over on Mike, then Mike has to go. I like that they made it seem less than completely planned, though. Sure Walt had the gun the whole time, but it didn't seem like he really planned to use it, and Mike had several opportunities to just go that slipped by him.

I wonder if Walt is going to pretend that Mike got away clean, knowing that Jesse and Mike had bonded.

Great episode! I am sad about Mike too. Him staring off at the water was just perfect. I hate Walt more and more each episode. So they said the next episode is the last one for the year? I guess the season and series is going to come back next year to finish up? I hate when show do that!

I was pretty devastated about Mike. It irritated me so much when Walt realized he could have gotten the names from Lydia.

I'm sick of seeing Jesse be a pushover and I was really proud of him for walking out when Walt gave him sort of an ultimatum. No doubt Walt will try to cover up what he did for Jesse.

Apparently, the second half of the season (after ep8) doesn't air until next summer. Lame.

Yesterday as we watched the episode, DH and I were talking about if we want Walt to "win" at the end of the series. DH wants him to suceed and not to be discovered by Hank, but I don't. I'm not very fond of Walt and I'd love to see Hank catching him.
What do you all think? do you want Walt to suceed or to be catched by the DEA or the cartel?

I want him to be caught also. He's at the point now where he feels invincible and he needs to get knocked back down to earth. I can't imagine they'll soften his character up any through the next half of the season, so he better get what he deserves! I'd love it to be hank that catches him.

I loved how he said that the killing was done, now that he and Jesse were in control.

Then he kills Mike.

And the previews for next week seemed to show a prison shanking - starting to hit the 9 guys that Mike had?

Funny how we all had such a soft spot for Mike and yet...he has killed lots of people and was quite a criminal.

Yes, but he was an AWESOME criminal, lol. He was just such a pragmatic badass, it's hard not to love him. Like Leon in The Professional.

I HAAAAAAAAAAATE Walter White. Him and Bill Compton from TB are the only tv characters in recent history I've actually wished bad things on.

I don't believe Mike is dead and I won't believe it unless they show him in an acid barrel. He's been shot a countless number of times. You mean to tell me ONE SHOT from WW and he's dead? Eeeeeh.

I think he will be and the opening scene is the last day he lives.
