In honor of Duff's Beer Week, how about some Micheladas for today's treat? These are a mix of bloody mary/beer (sort of, no vodka) if you haven't had one.



How are you this morning? It's cool outside and I'm in a good mood, plus it shouldn't be too hectic of a day especially since my boss and supervisor will be gone in a training session all day. (insert party hat emoticon)

Hey OPS! Never had a Michelada, but I'm not one to turn down drinks, so pass the pitcher.

We lost our softball game last night 7-1. Oy, we suck. I was thrown out at first three times. I wish I had the wheels that the guys on my team do. These short-ass legs only go so fast! In good news, I was playing catcher and a pop-up occured right between me and the pitcher. I called for it (shaking and praying that I didn't bif it, especially since I called it) and ended up catching it.

S is coming with me to the gym tonight, then we're grilling for dinner and having dinner on the deck.

I've been so close to trying those before, but I guess it never sounded very good at the moment. I love beer, I love bloody mary's, so why not?

Today is our annual staff meeting/awards ceremony, then catered lunch under the graduation tent. The weather is beautiful and I'm going to enjoy being out of my office from 10-1!

I am also doing well this morning. I actually got up and ran (for the first time since the 5K) and it felt really good. I am looking forward to lunch outside, and enjoying the weather on the ride home. All in all, life is good.

It is gorgeous here today! I'm excited for graduation this afternoon and dinner tonight. I have some work to distract me until I leave here for the ceremony, and I think I'm going to take a walk to get an iced coffee right now. So far, I like today.

MN, congrats!!!


Today is H's Friday so we'll be packing tonight. We went shopping last night and oh my god does he look good in shorts lol. I only ever see him in jeans so in shorts I was like mmmm mmm! Haha. Didn't find a dress he liked (What, are we going to prom) was said a lot. I told him I wanted short, sexy and glittery. He rolled his eyes at that so I ended up with a cute sun dress. Now to get a cardi and some sandals!

As for my day, I grabbed an orange for breakfast instead of eating something aweful, so good. I'm about to totally get busted having "casual Thursday" because I thought my boss wasn't coming in today, so bad. Other than that, all's quiet on the Western front.

My day has started a little crummy, but I'm in a pretty good mood... And I took my first two aerial silk classes last night and am sore in the best kind of way. It's been a,minute since I got such a good full body workout... Plus, it was SO fun!

M and I kicked Beer Week off early last night by having beer and popcorn for dinner. I'm tellin' ya, I'm the epitome of health!

I'm in a pretty good mood. It's M's day off, so we can actually do stuff in the early evening. I'm 95% done with the set of financial statements I've been working on all week, so hopefully I can finish that up this morning. So far, so good!

New med make me drowsy this morning so it took a little time to get up and going. It's a gorgeous sunny day today and supposed to be 74. Wohoo. Going to hang out with a friend tonight.

Today is good, despite not sleeping well lat night. I'm going to the gym in a bit. Then we're going out for drinks later with a couple of friends.
