Have you seen the promo for 4x11? It seems way too obvious for it to be her. It makes for good operating room angst, though.
Plus, the mid-season finale always has a near-death, like Thea last year.
Emily was on someone's Instagram (BTS) from last week, wearing the ring. I don't know...everything I've read points to "no way is she staying dead," even though the promo features a flat-line.

Maybe it is Merlin?
Ah, interesting. He put on the suit, without being asked, and helped to save the day? Would that really merit how upset Oliver was in the grave scene? Because he's Thea's father? Hmm.
The promo is definitely spliced within an inch of its life, for good reason.

I wouldn't think he'd be upset but who knows? The editing is always sketchy. The 2-3 jokes he made about being back from the dead made me think it might be him.

Not Merlyn and his handsome, handsome face!
I don't want anyone to die. Not even Laurel, even though I hate her. She finally did something awesome when she shattered the glass with her canary cry.
This show. If they do kill someone, though, do you think they'll bring Roy back? I miss him.

He's already confirmed to be back! Maybe not permanently, but he already filmed his episode. Maybe 4x13? I can't remember. It's on IMDB somewhere, and his Twitter.

I agree that it's a little too obvious if it's her.
Lance is a popular theory but it would be sad to see him go.

The key for me is this: who would be a big enough deal that Barry would also appear sad/affected by the death? It's either someone close enough to him, or maybe Samantha (is that her name)?
Then Oliver would be appropriately sad, but focused more on the responsibility aspect of things, since he sought her out?

This is true. But Barry didn't look too broken up (you know he can really cry) so that's another reason I don't think it's Felicity.
