I will be in San Francisco in a couple weeks and still have not picked a restaurant for Saturday night. I feel like we need to make reservations since there will be 6 of us. Thurs we are eating at Burma Superstar, Fri at Boulevard. Sat we are doing the 3:55 Alcatrez tour and I'm thinking it would be easiest to be able to get off the boat and eat dinner right in FW. Any recommendations? We are pretty open to any cuisine but would like something not too pricey.

We always take guests to Cioppino's when we're in the FW area. It's about a block down from Boudin (where PP mentioned) but pretty dang good. Only catch is that depending on what you order, it can get expensive - prices are from $15-$30 per entree.
For slightly cheaper (but still tasty) fare, we also like Boudin and the Blue Mermaid.

I have never been to/heard of In n Out but after looking it up, I'm guessing its similar to Steak n Shake's here.
I'm looking for something that would average up to about $100/couple. Bistro Boudin & Cioppino's look pretty good. Is the Embarcadero fairly close? We are staying in Union Square and I just didnt want to have to go far for dinner and then travel far to get back to the hotel after we'll have been sight seeing all day. I've never been to SF at all so I don't have any clue what to expect.

Ditto Rock-n-Voll. The area overall is pretty small, and you can easily take a cab from the Embarcadero back to Union Square. That said, I also like Cioppino's and like Boudin in general (haven't been to that one).
Do you have a reservation for Boulevard yet? We tried to get one in a few weeks and couldn't.
I do I tried calling back in June and they said they only take reservations so many days ahead of time. She gave me a date to call back so I set a reminder for that am and kept calling until someone answered the phone (since I wasnt sure what time they opened).

Thanks for the info. I wasn't really sure. I'm from Chicago and our downtown is huge. It can take an hour to get from one area to another in traffic so I wasn't sure what to expect.
