I feel like I have done a million things already and it is 9:30.
Went to dd's school to read a book, ran and grabbed coffee, raced across town to make it back to school gave a quiz and corrected one section. I need a nap but have three more classes to teach. Going to be a long day.
Dw had an on appointment today. Bp was great 110/66! Ob said 32 weeks is an important milestone for us ( no kidding) but is hoping to get her to 38 but not to be surprised if we get induced at 37 if/when her bp starts creeping up. So exactly the weeks my parents will be away. But I am happy dr is thinking long term and planning for a term/late pre term delivery. 9 more weeks but most likely 6 or 7....gulp
You people and your reversal of dates! To me it looks as though we're barrelling through the year on this chatter!
Mum came home yesterday with 4 more pairs of leggings for me. They're pretty much all I wear now. My thighs have outgrown my maternity jeans and there's no point in me sizing up just for another 6-7 weeks (or less).

Maternity leggings or regular leggings that happen to fit while pregnant? I need some leggings, but I'd prefer some that fit now and would still be comfortable and flattering afterward.
The dates thing is yet another thing we do in the US that's nonsensical. Like stupid imperial units.

got a call from my OB yesterday (and yes, i might have felt an instant panic, lol) and all our genetic testing came back totally normal!!! i know it's not a guarantee by any means, but it's nice to get over that hurdle =)
cactuscookie, maternity leggings from ON. I think they'll work for after, too, because the pannel folds down fairly flat. I'm a shortie, so the length is perfect for me, but I wouldn't buy them if you're taller than 5'4''.
spearmintleaf, I'm sorry, the nausea can be so debilitating. Hopefully it goes away pretty soon. With V, mine was gone by about 11 weeks. With this one, it stuck around until about 20 weeks (but by 13 weeks it was no longer an all day affair).
callmehales, such great news! You should go out and celebrate!

I'm annoyed. H's brother and SIL live in DC and are not coming home for Christmas. ILs are going up in January and want us to go as well, they are even willing to pay for flights/hotel which is very nice. EXCEPT Neither H nor I get paid maternity/paternity leave so we are trying to hoard our PTO days. It would probably only be a couple days off but damn, I don't like BIL/SIL that much and I would rather keep those days or use them for a trip I would like better. And seriously, no one wants to go to DC in the fucking dead of winter. ^o)

spearmintleaf - I'm sorry, that's a long day when you're feeling miserable. Hopefully the nausea doesn't last too much longer.
callmehales - Squeeee!!! That was a huge turning point in pregnancy for me, when I started feeling just a little more confident. Are you team green or did you find out the sex?

we'll be finding out, but not until next week!! we opted for the elective u/s instead of finding out with testing, i wanted it to be "fun" and not just a nurse calling with info.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
It seems like as soon as I get a little relief from morning sickness, I start getting a headache.
I'm glad it's Friday even though the weekend is busy and will fly by. I need to finish up my Christmas shopping, too! I'm feeling indecisive about some things.
Only one more hour before my 4 day weekend starts!
Tuesday is my A/S! We already know we're having a boy but I'm still nervous about how baby boy is growing (DS had IUGR). I will get extra scans due to my history but I haven't had any u/s since 12 weeks and it feels like it's been ages!

OMG, it took 2 hours at the MinuteClinic to get our shots! After that, we grabbed lunch, got haircuts, and bought a Christmas tree and ornaments (one for us -- we get one together every year -- and one for each baby in case they're here by then). I'm so tired now! After I rest on the couch for a bit, I've got to keep going on the to do list, though!
On the topic of lunch, is anyone else spilling on herself more often while pregnant? I don't understand it...maybe it's because I'm eating so frequently there are more chances for disaster. Brought to you by the fact that I dropped mustard on my bump and lap at lunch (and my Tide pen didn't work so I had to run the rest of my errands like that).

Not spilling, but Omg I drop EVERYTHING. Fully butterfingers 24/7.

I spilled on myself ALL THE TIME while pregnant! For real, I have no idea why. I figured I had more "real estate" so to speak and blamed it on that.
Not spilling but super klutzy! I've twisted my ankle TWICE (badly) in the last month. Not that I'm exactly graceful on a regular basis but i don't normally actually hurt myself! But i was in pain for days both times!
Let's hope i don't actually break anything in the next ~20 weeks!!!
