Good morning!

I'm in a really good mood this morning and am extra chatty...and I have no one to talk to! The downside of working alone!

One of my earbuds blew out during my run last night. They were pink glitter Hello Kitty earbuds that I bought on clearance 2.5 years ago, lol. I'd say I got my $4's worth of use. I hate buying ear buds, but alas, the time has come.

Isn't it annoying that all ear buds don't fit/feel the same?

Yes! When I was younger I had an accident that misaligned my jaw, so I can only wear ear buds that go into the ear...the round flat ones that Apple makes won't fit in one of my ears due to my jaw. And ear buds are so fragile. One wrong tug and they're dead.

I got to sleep in this morning, thank you Kindles for entertaining my kids!

We have a fun packed weekend ahead. My kids are going bowling and out to lunch with friends, then we are having the same kids over for a sleep over, tomorrow is breakfast with Santa, a play for my daughter and basketball for my son.

I'm grabbing the kids and then we'll head to a friend's house for his annual house party. We're going for the family part.

I did a fun holiday run this morning. Walking with a friend this afternoon and talking about a new project. I'm sending a FULL draft of my dissertation to my advisor tonight, which is very exciting! I really need to find something to do tomorrow besides yoga and work.

i survived my first PTA event (that i chaired !) last night. it was a family movie night - showing Rudolph and the Charlie Brown Christmas. i had a local movie theater donate popcorn and had kids (and their families) bring blankets and pillows to kick back and relax and watch some movies. i had about 50-60 people there ! both the PTA president and the school principal said it was a fantastic event and a cute idea to host a movie night during the holidays to get people to slow down for a second =)

now i can relax ! its been a stressful few months - work, PTA, GS Fall Sale and 2 bouts of sickness (battling #2 now ) but i'm so happy i have absolutely nothing to plan or attend this weekend !!

of course now i have a half garbage bag of popcorn .. aside from popcorn balls any ideas on what the hell to do w/ THAT much popcorn ??

I worked long days both yesterday and today. Now I am catching up on my dvr and drinking blue moon. Ahhhh!

Apple hasn't had round flat ones in several years! But my favorites are my bluetooth ones (link).

Hung out with my neighbors for quite a while today and it was really fun. Love watching my kids and theirs play together and it is so comfortable I feel like I'm part of a 3 parent 4 kid family. Nice to have other grown ups around.
