Does today's date work better for you loira ? I always try to be conscious of date formats in my work emails because I know it must be confusing to our overseas offices. Unfortunately, I don't think most people in our U.S. offices care.
I had serious pregnancy insomnia last night; I was also having some contractions and mild cramping. Everything seems better so far today, thank goodness.
We have so much to do I'm not even sure where to start. (Well, aside from a late breakfast; DH is on his way home from volunteering and will cook for me. (heart) ) What are you all up to today?

belovedbride07 Ha! I thought of starting today's thread just to switch the date format but then realised that would have been pointless. Glad you're feeling better this morning.
I'm going to make dinner tonight so my parents can focus on getting more work done on the office clear out. Maybe veggie burritos or something equally easy that doesn't require me being on my feet much...
H is home and he's on kid duty today, off to swimming and gymnastics and I'm still in my pjs.
Going to bake some Christmas cookies this afternoon and tonight we have a sitter coming so we can go out for a belated birthday dinner since H was out of town on my birthday. New French restaurant in town, I'm excited!
I had a weird panic attack that woke me up at 2am last night. I felt really claustrophobic all of a sudden. I managed to calm myself down but i think it's pregnancy weight-gain related even though I'm up the expected amount.
I hope this was a one-off... I'll be mental if i have panic attacks for ~20 more weeks!
We are just doing things around the house. We had to clean the guinea pig cage today which is quite the chore. At some point we'll bring in our christmas tree and get that set up and start getting the lights on it.
There's a girl I work with whose husband is a painter. We are going to call and talk with him to see about getting him to finish the nursery for us. He'll be able to get it done much quicker than we would.

I always write the month out from working with euros.

I'm decorating a big fancy cake for our office Christmas party tonight. I got a really bad foot cramp last night after being on my feet for several hours, so I'm going to make sure I take a break once an hour, from decorating and whatever else I want to get done today.
We got some positive news yesterday about the flood damage repairs. They're going to start next week. It could work out perfectly, because we're going to be gone from Christmas Eve to New Years anyway, so if they can get the drywall and painting done then, we won't have to spend much time in a hotel. It also means that we'll definitely be back home before the baby is full term. That's a huge relief.
We've been mostly at home. DH is almost done with painting bookshelves for the nursery and is adding baseboard to our pantry, which didn't have it before. I sold a single stroller to someone, we're purging the singles to help buy a double.
Now we're at Home Depot while DH buys more trim. I'm in the car with DS, who thankfully fell asleep. We're getting Starbucks before we go home.
Not much here today. Dd had a birthday party this afternoon so we had a mellow morning and I took her. Dw is feeling very tired today so she stayed home and napped. Now we are back. Dd is doing a craft and I am chilling on the couch. I was hoping Dw would have the idea to go out to dinner after napping all afternoon but she is still in her pjs so I don't think that is happening. So Netflix for us tonight. Maybe some take out.
We had our last date night before the baby! Straight No Chaser concert and dinner out. It was a logistical nightmare but we've made it. I just bought a 4th stroller, I need an intervention! But it was a super good deal (new bugaboo bee3 on Amazon for $115!).
Hi ladies...I just have to vent for a moment...I'm so over this morning (all day) sickness...I'm tired of throwing up, I'm tired of dry heaving all night, I'm tired of sucking at parenting b/c I feel like I'm going to throw up constantly, and I'm tired of not doing all the holiday things I had planned b/c I feel like shit...I don't remember feeling this bad last time, and as bad as I want this, I'm just miserable
My insurance won't cover the Diclegis and B6 hasn't helped at all, constantly eating pretzels and crackers helps me not get sick but not that nauseous feeling, I have a ridiculous amount of saliva that I'm constantly spitting out b/c if I swallow it all, I immediately get sick....tonight is my last PIO shot and I hope I start to feel better, I also have 1 zofran pill from ER I plan to take so I can hopefully be more productive tomorrow
Thanks for letting me get that all out...now back to the bathroom I go
whodey, I'm so sorry. I've been there and I know how miserable it is. It's extra miserable because you feel you ought to be happy, but that's really hard when you can barely move without wanting to hurl. Drinking little sips of water helped me with the saliva problem, and I took a water bottle wherever I went. I hope the zofran works for you.

whodey, you poor thing! I can't remember; have you tried half tablets of Unisom (doxylamine, not diphenhydramine)? I didn't want to bother with a Diclegis prescription, so I took that instead (along with B6, although I stopped that when I realized I was getting WAY more B6 in my Folgard so it was kind of pointless).

Thank you ladies - both for letting me vent and giving me some suggestions - I haven't been trying the 1/2 unisom during the day b/c I'm afraid it will make me too tired, but I think I'll try it today

Good luck, and I hope you have relief soon! I only took it at night and it worked for me the next day (which, looking up the half-life and metabolism time of the medication didn't seem to make sense, but like clockwork if I forgot one night, the next day would be miserable).
