Monday Randoms

I had the best Sunday Funday I've ever had. Brunch for my friend's birthday, drink with other friends, rejoining birthday group around town, home for a hookup, then back out on the town with my oot bff from childhood and her husband. I got home waaay late and I'm dragging a bit today...I need to go run, which I'm going to do now.

Tonight is the Christmas party for a networking group I'm a party of and I'm looking forward to seeing some old coworkers.

This past weekend I did wreaths across America and volunteered with a lot of veterans. It was really inspiring helping old Vietnam vets.

I'm catching the cold that's been going around the classroom. So now I'm home with a stuffy nose.

I was off today. I went to my post op appointment. I have about 10 stitches, a titanium anchor, and a metal pin in my thumb. Dr. took off the splint and replaced it with a hard cast. I get my stitches out next week and then I go back under to have the pin taken out. The anchor will stay forever.

I told my boss I was coming back tomorrow and he was glad. I hate sitting in this house all day.

I'm also done all of my christmas shopping, which is good since there are only 10 days left. :?

I was home with a sick kid today, although he was mostly sick last night so he was driving me nuts today when he felt better.

I've got a passive aggressive cold and it is driving me batty! Yesterday I felt fine and today I have been coughing non stop and the fever is back. I either want to feel sick so I can spend a few days in bed or just get better. This random sick, not sick, sick crap is annoying.
