I am in Denver for business and have to keep pumping to keep my supply up. The thought of hauling back 200 oz of milk isn't very appealing.
Is there a donation program like Human Milk for Human Babies here? I checked FB and a Colorado one didn't come up. I can't donate through the hospitals because I take medication
Help please! Do you know someone that needs some BM?
I'm not local, but I think an acquaintance donated in Denver after she lost her baby shortly after birth... I'll edit if I can dig up the info.
ETA: She says it was the Milk Bank of Colorado: www.milkbankcolorado.org/ I didn't see your info re: medications...it looks like MBC won't work: sorry!
so awesome of you!! the only one I know is done through the hospital, let me do a little research. depending on what we can find, you're also welcome to store it in my deep freezer if you can't find a place for it while you're here (like if someone is going to take it but you can't make the timing work out while you're in town)
