oil prices means no bonus. I did get a nice can of peanuts...
Peanuts....it that a joke? LOL.
As Mr. P's boss was walking him out, he's like "Oh yeah, at bonus time, you'd still qualify to get yours. There won't be one, but you know." We were way more upset about losing the extra 3% contribution because he was 6 months shy of having 3 years in service. More lol.

My year end bonus is that I get to throw another party for my husband's coworkers after not being invited to the firm christmas party (held on Tower Bridge). Boo.

Hah I'd be super offended if it was the company but it was a few bosses up who bought OOP for his people. H works for here too, different location, and we did not get any of his people anything.
My industry does not do bonuses. I have never had a job where I get one. Wait. My very first job at a 7 person company gave me like $100. And my current company, under previous owners, did this thing where we had a party and you could pick a favor off the tree and it had either a $20 bill or a $50 bill in it. Yaaaaaay.
My husband qualifies for 14% of his base as a bonus, which will get paid out in March, so it's not a holiday thing. The company usually pays 70%-80% of the possible bonus amount. And of course, taxes then take half of it. We usually use his bonus for house improvements, but this year we might have to save for medical expenses.
I will not find out what my annual bonus is for a few more days, at least. Last year, I found out what it was on one of the last few days of December. It was 40% of my salary. I kicked ass in 2014. This year, the firm had a really shitty year. Worst year ever. So I'm not counting on annual bonus, or at least, not one approaching what I got last year. I did however get a bonus in March for something else, which was nearly 30% of my salary, so I am considering myself lucky.
Can the person who answered they get $500,000+ as a bonus please make an AE and come tell me what you do? Unless you just clicked it to be an ass. Then that's cool too, because I am always tempted to do that.

I work for local govt so no bonuses around here. We are getting a 2% pay raise starting with our first check of the year to make our wages more competitive. This is in addition to normal annual increases. Since I just started in September, this is a nice little bonus
I'm still waiting to hear about my holiday bonus. My performance bonus was paid in July and I ended up around 37% of my base salary then. I'd love a similar number this time around, but I am not counting on it.
I got a smidge over 10%. I think 10% is pretty much company-wide, since my boss told me it was a term of the buyout a few years ago. That is a little annoying to me since I brought in huge projects that made this the highest billing year ever. But I am consoling myself with my fully paid 3 months maternity leave coming up. I'm the only one in the company that can and has benefited from this (times 2) just because it doesn't apply to anyone else.

I used to work in finance for an executive search firm, and while bonuses weren't quite that high I did see $200k-300k bonuses

State employee here so we usually don't get any sort of bonus, but this year they decided to give us a one-time $750 bonus in lieu of a raise. I had totally forgotten about it until I looked at my pay stub yesterday.
I work for a not-for-profit. The VPs and up receive bonuses. Sales team receives bonuses. The rest of the organization does not receive bonuses. I'm not a VP and I'm not in sales so I do not get a bonus.
