Help me pick a destination in the Caribbean

I would pick St. maarten that is where my DH and I want to go in OCt. it has great beaches and great restaurants. I think it would be a great adult trip! I would not do all inclusive there

I would go to St.John -fly into st Thomas and take the ferry over. Look at Caneel bay or the Westin.

St. John! And instead of a resort, I'd look into renting a vacation home/villa.

St. John - great hiking, FANTASTIC snorkeling, etc. You could actually get a villa for the same price as a resort if you prefer. We were just there in June and LOVED it.

The ferry ride over is very easy, too.
