He is not handling stress well this week, which is bad enough.

But last night he said to me, "You know how you mentioned Duran Duran tickets for a Christmas present (yes I am a geek trying to relive my teen years)? I'd have to get two tickets, and I assumed you'd just want to go alone."

I don't. I would like him to accompany me. Apparently this never crossed his mind. He was going to just not get any tickets instead of getting 2 and going with me

At the very least, get two tix so you could go with a friend. Or suck it up, because, you know, it is a gift.

Not cool, Mr DrL. Not cool. Mine would have bought the tickets and then lit all of the candles in the hopes that I would find someone else to go with, ha. Hope you can still get some tickets. I saw them a few years ago at a Mixfest or something, and they were awesome.
