I think the last episode I saw, Amy broke up with Sheldon.
(I haven't watched consistently this season)
They did and then he decided he was going to ask her to get married and went to her house and saw her with a date and then he changed his mind and left. Then they were doing some car ride for Thanksgiving, I think, and Amy said she wanted to get back together and he said no, because the hurt he felt when they broke up was so painful he never wanted to feel that again and it was best that they just stay friends. So how they got from that to having sex, I dunno. LOL
Last week Penny and Leonard were talking about something, I forget what, and that got Sheldon to thinking. He realized that he really doesn't want to live without Penny. He raced over to her apt, she was on a date with that scientist guy that I think is actually in love with Sheldon, LOL. Sheldon poured his heart out to Amy, they kiss, and hence back together.

I watched it. It felt kind of awkward and weird to watch. Not enough jokes tossed in to remind you it's just a show, and instead it felt like watching two people in real life trying to navigate an incredibly intimate moment. I kept wanting to turn off the tv to "give them some privacy".

This season has been incredibly bizarre and more awkward than I'm comfortable with. I think they're slated for 2 more seasons, but I'm not sure I can hang on.

He had a song stuck in his head and he couldn't remember what the song was. Which, of course, was freaking him out because eidetic memory.
What Penny triggered helped Sheldon remember the song - Darlin' by the Beach Boys - and he realizes why it's stuck in his head: it's about Amy. (and it's actually really sweet if you go read the lyrics).

Oh that's right, thank You. I have the memory of a sieve.
I loved it! I thought it had enough jokes in it to make it still a comedy while allowing the moments between Sheldon and Amy to be sweet and innocent. And I loved that they managed to take the intimate moments with Sheldon and Amy and use the same dialogue for Wolowitz, Raj, and Leonard for the Star Wars movie.
My DVR cut off the last 30 seconds or so. It stopped right when Professor Proton said he was curious. What did Sheldon say?
He told him that he saw the movie a couple days later and it was great.
Professor Proton then clarifies "No, I meant with Amy", then Sheldon tells him that she liked it ok, but that she didn't really have the history with the franchise to fully appreciate it.

I don't watch Big Bang except in reruns randomly, but I do love the movie Home where Sheldon is an alien Boov named Oh and he and he befriends Gratuity (Tip) Tucci (Rihanna's voice).

I'm an episode behind. I thought last week's episode when they got back together was so sweet. Can't wait to see last night's episode. I'm dying at the thought of those two doing it.
The episode was meh for me, but Bob Newhart was hilarious. I love his delivery. And I lost it when he started talking about bloomers.
Does he still appear in Star Wars garb and give advice to Sheldon?
I watch the syndicated reruns but never catch the new episodes so I'm a season behind, maybe two. The newest ones I've seen penny has short hair and is a pharm rep. I never saw when she cut her hair though. Was that a big felicity-level controversy?

I loved this episode. It made my stupid Amy/Sheldon loving heart explode. I thought they wrote it well and handled the whole losing their virginity to each other thing well.
Loved Bob Newhart - I love that he's still working. He's still REALLY funny.

Yes, he was in the Obi Wan robes.
I remember Sheldon being upset when Penny cut her hair because it was a change in his routine.

I watched it because I love the character Sheldon. The show as a whole is "tired" for me. I loved the Star Wars part but really disliked the whole Amy-Sheldon storyline. It was just blah for me. In recent years, I feel like it's been kinda a chore to watch this show, kinda like Modern Family and other old-fashioned comedies that are not more cutting-edge like Veep or Orange is the New Black.
A few actors on that show are very, very overpaid.
A student asked, "Was there a new episode last night?" I talked about the Star Wars part (Will Wheaton as Spock, etc.) and mentioned that Sheldon didn't go because he was with Amy. I left out anything more than that.

I watched the last 3 to catch up last night and I thought it was great. Love the scene where they get back to together and when they decide to have sex it was very "them".
I haven't really watched in a while but saw this one. I am going to make my H watch it too. It was cute and funny. The Star Wars metaphor was hilarious. And wil Wheaton was great.
