I'm getting PRK for Christmas!

Awesome! I really should do this, but for some reason it just freaks me the eff out. This time of year with contacts is the worst. Five minutes on the bus with the heat on full blast and my contacts are dry discs of torture.

Yay! I got LASIK a few years ago and it's the best thing I've ever done. Seriously. Good luck!!!

For those that are freaked out -- it really wasn't a big deal. The whole procedure took like 10 minutes and they gave me valium ahead of time. Didn't hurt at all. I highly recommend Mass Eye and Ear in Boston - they were fantastic.

After some research I decided to go with dr kornmehl. I considered mass eye and ear for sure but I've heard personal recs for kornmehl.

Apparently I'm not a candidate for LASIK but I'm fine for PRK. I don't care as long as I can see.
