12/24 - I won't be at my parent's house until 8, put the kids to bed and then probably have a drink or two to calm down and then go to bed early. 12/25 - Family drama. I hope to keep a pretty consistent buzz after 2 p.m. but stop at bedtime for our flight. 12/26 - 1/1 - vacation! Three happy hours a day where drinks are BOGO so 6+ a day. Resort drinks are pretty watered down though.

I bought the ingredients to replicate Bonefish Grill's Winter Cosmo, so I will be trying those for a couple of nights at least. After Christmas we'll be with H's aunt, no real drinking there.

I went and bought myself non alcoholic beer and spark ill g grape juice tonight. The ils don't have alcohol at their Christmas anyway so not much difference except we normally have champagne Christmas morning as we open out stockings at home.

Um, a lot. I mean, I won't get wasted or anything, but probably 2-4ish beers a night tomorrow, possibly 12-25 and 12-26. And who knows how much on 12-31 since we are staying in and I can drink all I want. And then we are supposed to go out with friends on 1/1. So....I don't want to give my real answer. Two beers in right now. Cheers!
i have a 3 drink limit in the evenings. I might have boozy coffee with breakfast or a beer for lunch, but I haaaate being hungover. I'd rather not drinking than deal with a toddler and a headache.
Because my kid hates me and wants me to have neither sleep nor booze this holiday season this week she introduced an extra wake up in what WAS the 'safe zone' for extra drink or three. THANKS FOUR MONTH WAKEFUL!

I agree with this. At 37, hangovers are a bitch and last more than one day.
Also, I feel compelled to add that last Christmas and New Year's, my DD was waking up every 1 to 2 hours overnight, so I was exhausted and miserable and as a result, didn't drink very much at all.
I'll have a small glass of wine with Christmas dinner and maybe a little champagne on New Year's Eve. We usually have mimosas on Christmas morning but this year I'm planning on faux ones made with ginger ale.
Maybe a glass of wine or two? We have literally zero plans, so no occasion to drink (but also no guests, so no reason to drink either). H is on painkillers and isn't supposed to drink. And we have a toddler, so hangovers would suck.
