Merry Christmas! I think I may have finally outgifted DH this year. We're waking up, opening gifts, having breakfast, then jetting to church where I must push buttons on the organ. After that, naps and video games!
I was up a full hour before the kids, they had the nerve to sleep in. This is the first year that DS understood the concept of Santa, and was concerned that an old man broke into the house. Even if it was to leave him presents.
Dh and the pup are still sleeping, I'm under a blanket now but will go make my side dish for lunch in a bit and then we'll head to my parents' house for presents.

My cinnamon rolls were delicious. After a small tantrum from DD, we're watching The Muppet Christmas Carol while DH puts together the Barbie popup camper. This is lovely.
My son rejected cinnamon rolls. My sister called to announce her pregnancy (thanks for rubbing it in on Christmas). And husband back handed brought up our marriage issues. Merry Christmas indeed. At least BB-8 sphero was a hit. DS thinks he's real.
Merry Christmas, Everyone! Sitting here on the couch with DH and coffee. We'll go to my aunt's house this afternoon. It should be a lot of fun, but my "kids" always spend Christmas with their dad, so it's always kind of sad for me. Harder this year because my grandson is old enough to be a big part of it, and I'm missing out on that. But it'll be nice to see my aunt and cousins.
Merry Christmas! Kids are playing with toys and I'm drinking mimosas. We still have about half the presents to unwrap but the kids are so happy already we may put some of these away for birthdays.
Merry Christmas, y'all! I've already watched White Christmas and we're introducing the kids to The Princess Bride. They're not that into it, but DH and I are having a quote-off.
Later this afternoon we're meeting my folks at the bowling alley for a couple of games and then having a cook-out back at my house.
I know it's my people's tradition to go to the movies and eat Chinese food, but there's nothing the kids want to see and there are no Chinese food restaurants open here today.

Liked for the 1st paragraph mental image AJL AND because I was really excited for us to grill out, too!! Then, H got me a grill pan for our middle/ lengthy burner that we never use! A great gift, something I mentioned months ago, but it's pretty obvious he expects to use for steaks today. But it's 58!!! We were supposed to enjoy wine on the deck & grill out!! WahWAHH

My BIL and I were quoting Robot Chicken at each other and cackling.
"Who's going to give me a loan, jackhole, YOU?" *snickersnicker*
"You got an ATM on that torso Lite-Brite?" *snickersnicker*
"Whose THEY?" "What's an aluminum falcon?" *snickersnicker**snickersnicker**snickersnicker*
"Now get your seven-foot-two asthmatic ass back here, or I'm going to tell everyone what a whiny bitch you were about Padama-may or Panda Bear or whatever the hell her name is!" "Oh, geez, he's crying!" *snickersnickersnickersnickersnickersnickersnickersnicker*
B and H are playing Lego Chima. S is taking a good nap. I laid down for a bit (no nap, but boy did it feel good to be horizontal) and am now sipping eggnog while curled up in my new lounge sweater under a blanket in the sun.
We go to my brother's house for dinner in a bit. Have to shower and be presentable first.
