I stopped for coffee this morning and while I was trying to get my cup, put the creamer in etc (remember I have a cast on my dominant hand) I saw this cute guy and I heard him talking loudly to one of the employees. He was talking about my favorite baseball team's retired players. I am a baseball freak and have been since I was 3. He was talking about some game that allows you to choose old players.

So I got in the long line to pay and guess who comes up behind me? Yes cute baseball guy. So I turned around and said "If you don't mind me asking, what game were you talking about?" He told me and I responded with " I loveee baseball! I have since I was 3. That's why my cast is red; not for Christmas, but for my baseball team!" he responded with "oh! I had a green one for my favorite football team (who is also my favorite team as well!)" I then said "Oh I was going to get a green one, but I knew they weren't going to make the playoffs, so I decided against it!" which is totally true! We had some more small talk and then

I paid for my coffee and left.... I'm so not good at this stuff! I told my coworker and she was like "WTH?! You need to go back in and get coffee the same time tomorrow!" LOL that's a little, or A LOT stalkerish!

ETA: I felt like Ross on the episode of Friends where he "flirts" with the pizza girl! Off to find the gif!

I guess I'm going back this morning lol! I'm pretty sure he's a regular since he was having a long discussion with the employee. Thankfully I received a gift card to that place for Christmas! Time to use it up! Lol!
