NYE plans?

What does everyone have planned for tomorrow night?

I have DDs tomorrow so we're planning on going to my mom and SD's for dinner. Then, we'll probably come home, watch some movies, do makeovers (which was a hit 2 years ago), and *hopefully* make it to midnight. I kinda wish it was more exciting, but it should be fun.

I'll be here alone with my very scared pug (neighborhood fireworks) and a bottle of bubbly to myself. Same as last year. BUT, there will be the "faces" thread on ML to entertain me.

We're going to a small party that our good friends are having. It'll be nice.

I'm most excited for planting myself on the couch for The Twilight Zone marathon, though. That's my favorite thing about NYE and NYD.

Whelp, I'll be working all day. In the evening we are staying home. Basically pajamas, alcohol, appetizers and some extracurricular activities. Lol. That's our basic NYE "tradition". We're old, huh? Actually I was never really down for more than a house party on NYE.

I'll be hanging out with Vegas. I told him I'd still be wearing a ridiculous sequin dress and full face of makeup - you know, for pictures. So he said he will bust out his suit.

I'm trying to get mp to at least go yo dinner with us.

Star Wars in the afternoon and then I've got a 6 pack of a really yummy blood orange beer for the evening. I'm house sitting so it will just be me sitting around watching bad tv alone.

I have no plans and I wish I did. I will be working during the day. I am on my own for the whole weekend and not really looking forward to it.

Let me clarify that I am actually okay with a solo evening. I have had a lot of them over the years, and while people often don't understand it, I like the evening to celebrate what is to come & look back over the past year in peace.

I'm going to a concert with a friend and her sort of boyfriend. So many of my friends checked in with me to see what I was doing, which I really appreciate! Almost done with all of the first post split winter holidays.

I always spend nye at my mom's with her and my brother. This year both of my brothers will be there. We will make appetizers and have some wine and/or champagne and watch the ball drop.

I am working a half day this morning and then a friend is coming in from Tampa and we are going to this warehouse type place that has live music with performance dancers slinging paint, glitter, sand, and water all around while they perform. Open bar from 10-1 and its a reasonable uber distance away from my place. I am sure this is a bad idea considering I am still fairly sick and on medication, but its NYE. We were going to go to Epcot and ring in the new year at all the different countries, but I think that's just too long of a day and too many people for me right now.

The New Year is a family celebration just like Christmas around here. My SIL's family asked us to come over to their place so it will be around 20 people there. There is always alcohol and dancing. I am bummed because DD went to her dad yesterday and I don't have her to celebrate together. Unfortunately, she doesnt like dancing as much and has inherited her dad's dancing skills lol.

I was in Montreal last year by myself for New Years. What a fun city! I ended up going to a drag show to ring in the year. It was very entertaining. Enjoy your time there!

Umm, WATCHING THE GAME! DUH! It's the playoffs, baby! Boomer! Yes, I am a fanatic. I don't care. Then doing jack shit. The game is at fucking 3 (seriously, THREE!?! It's a PLAYOFF GAME!) and I will drink a bit, then just head home. Maybe read a book. Maybe stay up until midnight. Who knows.

I'll be watching the games today. I want to purge my closet, too. Other then that just trying to relax and think about what I want to accomplish next year. I'm sure I'll do some reading before the night is over and I plan to be asleep before midnight.

I'm so jealous you have a team in the playoffs! Last year at this time I was in flight to Pasadena for the rose bowl! I'm rooting for you! I'm so annoyed that Clemson is ranked so high!

My dad owns a bar outside of the city and has an apartment above it for people to stay. So some friends and I are heading there. I don't like a big Fancy NYE scene so this will be low key and free. Plus no trying to find a can home!

Thanks!  I WISH I had the money to fly to Florida and go.  If they make the National Championship in Arizona, I may try and fly to Arizona and stay with my friend who lives there.  Maybe try and convince one of her rich friends to sell me a ticket cheap.  LOL.
