They are the best, best, best flats I've ever worn. So comfy from the very first wear, super flexible, and cute! I bought a pair this summer, got a pair for Christmas, and I've asked for another pair for my birthday. I'm planning to buy a few pairs a year and slowly replace my entire flats wardrobe with them.
I want to like them but I don't like that blue bottom. Am I the only one?
No, I've considered them before, but can't pull the trigger because I can't get over the teal sole. It looks awful. Why can't they at least make the visible part black (like around the edges) and make the middle of the sole blue? I would be okay with that.
I wonder how many people don't buy them because of this.
I don't have any (the blue bottoms also have kept me at bay), but I like the idea of silver screen -- but that may be catching my eye because I have a need for a new pair of silver ballet flats!
I have the same question. I would love to get a pair (or ten) but I have wide feet.
Short answer: not good for wide feet.
Long answer: I have very high arches on a normal width foot. Sometimes I need wide to accommodate the bridge of my foot. The Tieks are just wide enough for me. I find the width cut very specific so I wouldn't buy these shoes if you are a narrow or wide foot. They are, however, good for in between sizes. I wear an 11.5 and I've worn an 11 and a 12 in Tieks (11 fit best).

Get them! You live in NY right? I wore new manolos for HALF A BLOCK in NY- from the car to the restaurant- and the bottoms were so trashed from the walk that I had to have vibrams put on before a second wearing because the leather was showing. So, regardless of anything else, they're worth it for the portability factor and savings of nicer shoes. I have them in my bag constantly.
I'm an 8 or 8.5 so was in a standstill over which size to order but I read they will send you both to try on and see which fits best.
I'm planning on fushia then leopard.
I'm glad you mentioned this because I run between a 6/6.5 and didn't know which to select. If they'll send me both, great! Now to pick a color. The rose gold would probably get the least use but it's my favorite.

I wear an 11.5 too. This is great to know. What other brands do you wear? I can wear Ivanka Trump 11s, but for some reason I can't wear Cole Haan anymore, but I have read that they change the cut of their shoes.
I have a pair of 12s from J Crew, D'Orsay black patent pumps. Nice shoes but just a fraction too big. Have an open toed 11 from J. Crew that is just barely working. Have a pair of Bjorn boots from Nordstrom in a 12 that are great - I can wear a thick sock with them.
Years back I tried a Cole Haan 11 boot but I couldn't get into the bottom of the boot - arch too high - to even see if it would work. In my 20s I was much more persistent in looking for 11s that I could wear. I'm 38, have 3 young kids and work for myself so fun heels are no longer a part of my life Plus my feet got a smidge bigger after baby #1 so I almost always just look for a 12 now.
I'm not much a shopper and the not regular shoe size just makes me shop for shoes even less

I do live in New York but I always get rubber soles put on heels upon purchase anyway, and when I used to wear heels for work I only wore them outside when I was with a client because I'd damage them too much. I switched into flats for commute/getting lunch/etc. So I've always had that issue under control. (Now I never wear heels to work... Job is pretty casual.).
Occasionally I'll wear heels out at night but then I either won't walk around much or will keep a different pair of ballet flats (or flip flops, when warm) in my bag to switch into. Don't need Tieks for that.

The benefit of Tieks is that they take up way less space. I've tried sticking other flats in my bag, and flip flops, but Tieks are maybe 4" *2" *2" when folded and they're self-contained. They fit in everything except clutches, but the best part - for me- is that because they're so compact I always have them with me. Im always rushed when getting out the door, though, so I put s high premium on portability.
I bought myself the cardinal red for Christmas and love them. I have wide feet and they work great. I'm looking forward to taking them to Vegas with me.
