Campaign manager and communications director quit. That can't indicate anything good for him.
Jeb. stuck his foot in it when asked about Tamir Rice. First he said something about Chicago having a lot of work to do. No Jeb, this happened in Cleveland. Oh well the jury made a decision so the process worked, according to him.
I saw there's an app to block trump from your internet. Genius.
I wonder if this is related to that Blind Gossip we talked about a week or two ago? If I knew a scandal was about to break, I'd jump ship. Either way, it doesn't say good things about his campaign which is a huge relief for me. I'm just afraid Trump will be the last man standing.. he's not ashamed of the skeletons in his closet, people don't seem to care that he's a terrible person.. it feels like nothing can take him down.
Edit to clarify that Trump's skeletons aren't even IN a closet lol. They are dancing around in public.
My XH picked up the girls for a few days visit with him and his wife. He had a Carson bumper sticker in his back window. Apparently his wife doesn't know any better. In his defense, he says he doesn't know who he's voting for but he's pretty sure Hillary will win and will be an okay President. NOT in his defense, he had a gun under his front seat "for protection." Even worse, it was because he didn't know who would be with DD when he went to meet her to drop off her Christmas presents. :/

This is another example of how a candidate who seemed to have promise early on fizzled out. I think after the Paris attacks, people became more concerned about terrorism and the "commander in chief" aspect of the presidency. He fell short in that regard.
It seems to me that the whole "outsider" thing sounds ok in the early going, but once the votes are actually cast primary voters will start thinking of people who already have the skill set to be president. It's not an entry-level job.

Any time someone drops out or becomes very unlikely to be the nominee, it makes it less likely that Trump will be the nominee. There's probably 70% of the primary voters who don't favor Trump; the fewer ways it is divided, the more likely it is that someone will emerge as the un-Trump. I see it being Rubio.
I'm predicting the next to drop out are Huckabee and Fiorina. Kasich would be toast except for the fact that he just got endorsed by a big-time billionaire who used to like Hillary. I think Ron Burkle's the name.

Not that long before the Paris attacks, I criticized Carson for his lack of understanding - not lack of experience, but lack of basic understanding - of foreign policy and got told that his lack of foreign policy understanding would be a non-entity for voters since nobody really has foreign policy experience.

Yeah, something is up. It was just announced here that he's coming to do a town hall here in my neck of the woods on Monday. Keep in mind that I live in a (relatively GOP-friendly) part of NYC. Nobody gives a shit about the New York primary, and lord knows we don't matter in November. The fact that he's wasting his time here means something...not good. He is probably getting paid money he desperately needs to show up here.

You know, I hate to say it but I don't think his lack of foreign policy understanding is why he's fading at this stage of the game. I suspect it's his lack of charisma. With so many players in the field, you have to be larger than life (or very, very likable) in order to keep John Q Public's attention. He is neither. The average Trump supporter isn't eschewing Carson because he pronounced it "Hummus."
