Nume styling wand?

Is this a good one? I saw it for $39 shipped today, so am thinking about giving it a try.

I have it and don't like it. I strongly prefer my hot tools iron.

I have fine, oily hair fwiw.

I didn't like it as well. But, I also suck at wands. Love my Hot Tools. Love my Sarah Potempa Beachwaver S1 even more.

For me, flattening or curling is easiest with a flat iron. And I hate all tools that don't hold my hair, like wands.

I got it when my hot tools iron crapped out and I LOVE it. My hot tools iron always made my hair smell burnt and my NuMe wand is so fast, easy and my hair is shiny and doesn't smell burnt. Also- my curls used to fall flat within bourse. This wand keeps the wave/curl in my hair for 3 days. Got two of my friends to get one when they did a deal for $29 and they both love it just as much.

I was worried about a wand and the learning curve but I got the hang of it quickly and love that it doesn't leave a crease in my hair from the clamp. It comes with a glove which saved my hands while I was figuring out how to use it best.

I have tried so many times and cannot get the process of doing anything but straightening with my flat iron. I'm wondering if I'll be annoyed at the fact that it doesn't hold my hair.

There is no "process" really. You're just pulling the iron thru your hair at a slightly different angle. It's pretty much exactly the same as straightening.

It seems so much more demanding to wind hair manually around a wand, and try to maintain contact without burning my fingers.

I got it when I couldn't pass up a similar deal. It can get really hot so it curls really well. I use it for beachy waves and they come out great and hold well. The only thing I don't love about the wand is I've burnt myself a couple times. It's not as easy to use as a regular curling iron.

Yep I got the Magic wand in the 32 size. It creates tighter big curls or loose beach waves depending on how you wrap the hair. I posted a pic of my ootd in the weekend thread and used the wand for my hair in that pic if you wanna see. There is a learning curve and definitely use the glove (it comes with it) till you get the hang of it. Otherwise you'll end up with a few burns.

Also only hold your hair on there for a few seconds bc it does get really hot and you don't want to burn your hair.

Also- I purchased the mat/pad thing when I ordered it bc there's no clip it lays flat and you'll want the mat to keep it from burning your counter

Thanks! I decided to give it a shot and I'll give it to my sister who loves hair stuff if it doesn't work for me.

I have it and liked it for a while. It did not last though. It broke after a year.
