My goals are to be a more informed consumer and make purchases that will last many years instead of just a few washes. I also want to clean out my closet finally and get more organized.
Random poster on this board, one of my 2016 goals is to take better care of my skin and hair. Better products, better up keep, better foods for anti aging.
Getting better at makeup is my goal too. I wear mascara every day and that's literately it.
DH bought me the Gwen Stefani Urban Decay palette for Christmas so I am inspired to learn how to use it.
I've always been really into fashion, and I change my hair color somewhat often, but different hairstyles and all makeup have really eluded me. I want to change that.
All of my 2016 goals are related to surviving having a second kid...like professionally and also personally as a human.
I guess one of my S&B goals will just be to not let myself go after I have #2 like I did after #1. I gained more weight in the year after I had her than I did when I was pregnant with her. So hopefully I'll take better care of myself after #2 arrives.
Get back to posting OOTDs on here. I've gained so much weight the last several months and haven't felt good in my clothes but I'm in the process of losing again. So I'll be back!
ETA: also, in the process of getting it of debt, so no buying new clothes and using what I've got in my closet.
*wear makeup more often *continue to look presentable even though I am not going to work *get my hair straightened a few times at the salon and try a few new hairstyles at home
After I birth this second baby I look forward to wearing my old clothes hopefully relatively soon after. That may be a pipe dream as it took a year to lose the weight with the first one. So I will give myself a year and not push it too much but I need to really start working on weight lifting for my health as well as figure. I really need to take a more critical eye to what I have to ensure it fits in my new look that I am trying to evolve to. I am hesitant to donate some things now as I am not sure how my shape may change.
I need to continue the closet purging. I donated over 300 items and have many more I need to donate. I also want to sell some of the nicer things I have.
Need to figure out some cute looks with my hair curly as I don't see myself having much time to straighten it with the new baby.
I need to really only shop with money that I make from selling old stuff. I have had good luck ebaying/poshmark for higher quality items at target prices.
Continue learning how to use makeup to enhance features but not look overdone.
Makeup related - I'd really like to figure out how to contour/highlight like a big girl... sigh...
Style/clothing related - I'm a SAHM so I don't dress up every day but I'd like to wear something other than jeans and still be comfortable. NE Ohio means cold/yucky winters so high heels and boots are out for me!
I'm still nursing so I'm not being too hard on myself about my extra weight, but I know it's also holding me back from wearing most of my clothes. But I don't want to spend a ton of money on new clothes. So, I need to be smart about purchases, while also taking care of my body.
Making a little more effort on days I'm home, start participating again in OOTD and challenges. Are we still doing challenges? I'm so out of it!
I need to figure out what to do with my hair. It's really long now and I basically just put it up most days because of DD. I'm thinking I need a cut that is easier to manage and look cute styled quickly, but I can also put up and doesn't turn into a rat's nest.
Accept that I look my age. At 44 1/2 with fair skin and a history of tanning in my younger days, I have a lot of wrinkles. They aren't going anywhere without me spending a significant amount of money. So, I might as well just accept them!
-to use up makeup and toiletries before purchasing more.
-to get better at doing my own hair; i have maybe 3-4 styles (I use the term loosely) that I can do. I'm getting bored with them and want to master some new options.
-to shop my closet more and donate what i don't wear.
1. To use the makeup I already have 2. To be better about facing my face entirely at night (instead of makeup removing cloths) 3. More mindful of my skin
Finally getting off the last 20lbs of this weight that I've worked so hard to get off but never quite finished.
Wear more clothes that I have in my closet and try and become creative with them.
I totally relate to scout8 and her post about aging. I am struggling big time with that. I need to realize I will be 46 in two months and no matter how much I take care of myself (and I do!), I'm not going to look like JLO or be able to turn back time. I just want to be able to deal with it.

my style/ beauty ones-
wear what's in my closet. I am on a spending freeze and I only wear like 1/2 my closet anyway even though I already purged and saved only what fits/ I like, so I need to wear more of it, and come up with new pairings
look put together everyday, no more wet ponytails every morning.

i have GOT to get my closet room organized, because DH is currently using some of the closet in the office....but it'll be the nursery soon, so we gotta get everything out!
i need to be better about purging clothes i haven't worn in a long time, despite any emotional attachment to them. i also need to purge my makeup drawer, and only keep the stuff i love/use a lot.
S&B related goals are to wear what I own and find new ways to style things. Also, get back to eating better and tone up. I've slacked the last two months.
Purge my makeup and get rid of everything I don't use.
Non S&B: Eat better. Cook at home more. Our neighbors cook at home all the time. They invite us over all the time. Which is nice but then it makes me want to cook more. Or just live at their house. They used to have a live in nanny that did all their cooking and cleaning that recently ended her employment with them. So I've started cleaning their kitchen after they feed us. Least I can do. Ha. They invite us over at least once a week.
S&B wise, I guess just be more mindful of what I buy. I have no idea what I bought this past year to rack up so much on my cc. No freaking clue. So everything needs to be bought in a brick and mortar store or I'm not buying it. I started thinking about how much extra money we'd have if I didn't have to pay so much to my damn cc. Whoops.
I need to shop more in my own closet. I am putting myself on a spending freeze. I have some gift cards that I am going to use to buy some new flats which I desperately need but besides that I really need nothing. I am in the same place as ditzydi with my credit cards are OOC and they need to be paid off ASAP. So no shopping for me.
I would also like to sell some of the crap in my closet. I can barely fit anything in there and I wear the same stuff all the time.
I would also like to lose 15 lbs so some of the above mentioned clothing fit again!
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion." - Unknown
I would like to lose 25 pounds & fit into all my pants again. I've officially stopped nursing a month ago. I want to buy quality clothes instead of "stuff". That means not shopping at ON & Gap.
I am going to try to love by the motto, "fewer, better" when it comes with shopping. I'd like my closet to be a collection rather than throwing away so many clothes each year.
