Monday OOTD

Ds started school again today. His reign of terror is over. And I wasn't even off for all of it. Dh seriously soaked it all in and thought it was all puppies, rainbows and glitter. I just saw a fire breathing dragon. Anyway, this is today's outfit. Poncho cardigan is new from a local nestie.

ETA:  I am also wearing non-jegging, non stretchy jeans.  I am sure I will regret this decision after lunch.

I had a cute outfit in mind but hadn't looked at the weather when I picked it out last night. (One of my resolutions is to pick my clothes out the night before so I don't default to my boring daily inform day-of). Well it's cold and pouring outside so I went with my usual skinnies + sweater. And my rain booties. Boring and not worthy of a pic. Lol

It wason my neighborhood buy/sell page. My neighbor bought it from anthro for $328. She wore it once. She was selling it for $12. So I snagged it for my friend.

It's the second cold day all winter here but my closet shelves fell apart so this is the best outfit I could come up with. Pants are RP and are a deep burgundy color.



I've included a bonus pic of the disaster I walked into yesterday. I need to figure out a better shelving system for my closet.

Your poor closet!  I think all you need are stronger brackets.  And I'd put a board on top to replace the wire shelf.  But then again I'm so not the handy person and that's probably why I'm waiting to have somebody install similar shelves in my laundry room so I can hang dry my laundry.  

Oh and I always love your hair. Down, up.  It always looks so polished.  When I put my hair up I just look hot mess and like I just got done running.

Thanks ditzydi. I really like midi dresses...but I'm 5'9'' so they work for me. I'm mostly just excited that I'm almost 6 months pregnant and I can still squeeze into it. I'm sure I'm ruining it....

ditzydi - I found this sold out size M sweater in Anthropologie but wasn't really crazy about it on me. I like it in the pic but didn't feel great in it.

Yeah H and I are going to have to figure something out. Not sure if you can tell from the pics but that poor closet has been patched up a few times now. Poor guy, he's not all that handy. lol

Neither are we.  Which is why we are paying somebody to install our shelf.  We tried to hang something when we lived in the apartment.  It was a heavier metal piece with some spikier pointy pieces at the bottom.  DS was trying to hang something on it and I guess he had pulled on it too hard while he was trying to hang whatever it was he was trying to hang up there and it just about impaled his leg.  I've been nervous to hang anything since.

Oh jm1211, your poor closet!! That's not a good way to start the week Here's to hoping for something new and awesome though!!

Looking good ladies! I actually HAVE been getting dressed quite frequently but I'm also running around like a maniac with this new career and haven't found a good in-between yet where I can get dressed plus actually have time to get a photo. The bathroom at my office is awful so that's not a good option. I'm really going to try to do better!!

I did score 4 items from Gringas closet sale and they're adorable!!
