Hello,
We have 2 cats and are looking into getting pet insurance for them.
One is 5 and one is 7. The 5 year old was feral for the first year and has some dental problems (they've pulled a tooth or two, and she needs cleanings. She also has allergies). The 7 year old is in "perfect" health.
We're worried about future costs. We are people that would pay anything for our kitties. Since we know that about ourselves, we're hoping to prepare for it in the future.
Is there any pet insurance company that is recommeded? Should we even bother? Which ones are legit and which ones are scams? Based on the info above, is there anything else I should look into?
Thanks for reading. In exchange, I present my kitties:

Cute cats
I have Embrace for my two cats. Other companies people recommend are Pet Plan and Pet's Best. Most pet insurance plans don't cover dental or wellness visits unless you pay a lot extra, and exclude preexisting or genetic conditions. I pay $20 a month for my 2 cats, but they're both still under 4 years old. I believe rates go up pretty quickly after that.
