Yay it's almost the weekend! Today I'm still in my decluttering spree and catching up on work. My kids are going to OT soon but otherwise nothing is happening.
Goals for 2016 -not to be sent back to the U.S. early (Rumors at DH's company aren't good but hopefully his particular job would continue through the whole contract) -that my kids will be ready for kindergarten. One is delayed and I worry about this but he's making good progress and this summer I'll be going Tiger Mom on him with extra therapy. -if we can stay 2 years here I will quit working and do an MBA program so I'm looking into that.

Good Evening!
Wednesday was pretty good, not nearly as hot as forecasted and we had a bit of rain. I had thought about baking a king cake today, but decided not to. I'll save that for closer to Mardi Gras. But the best part was talking to my Mom. My parents have been on a cruise since before Christmas and I have really been missing talking to her.
QOTD: I'm going to be spending a while in the US later this year and I'm hoping I can swing mini reunions with some friends from high school and college while I'm there. I'll be missing my high school class 25 year reunion, so I'm really hoping I can get together with a few classmates. And I'd really like to be able to meet my new cousins -- one is 4(!!) and I still haven't met her.
I'm running errands, talking to my mom, weight lifting and going to my very first pantomime.
QOTD: we're finishing up the renovation of our first house (Cumbrian), move back in there and going to start a full gutting and renovation of our other house (Vale). And then we'll rent out the Cumbrian house while moving back into the Vale house (final move). It will be the third house move in a year. I'm getting very good at packing. The challenge for this one will be to get my MIL to give up a lot of crap we don't need (like 20 guest towels for the non-existent guests she has or the glassware for large dinner parties - of really ugly 1970s glassware). I'm also hoping to get a full-time job once all of this is finalised.
Travel-wise - planning on going to my 25th Princeton reunion. It's a biggie and I'm taking my H, who has never experienced anything like it. I haven't been back since my 10th so it'll be good to see old friends. We're also renting out a beach house for my family for 2 weeks. I can't wait to go back to my old beach stomping grounds (where we used to spend our parts of our summers when I was very little - my grandmother had a house there).
My days are pretty boring, so I won't go into detail. Work, then laundry.
QOTD: I'm hoping to get rid of a lot of stuff I don't need anymore, and I'm hoping to convince the Brazilian boy toy to get rid of even more. I completely love my apartment, but it's only 65m² and coming from a massive 100m² company-paid rental all to himself, he's understandably skeptical about sharing such a small space.

Hi! It's my last day before I go back to work after the holidays, so I'm relaxing and cooking. I'm doing Japanese, so I've been folding Gyoza on and off today. I also need to make a pot of tomato sauce, but I think that will have to wait.
QOTD: I don't have too many goals for 2016. I don't like to set too many goals and then feel disappointed when they don't get done. I do want to clean out a lot of stuff and get rid of junk. That's about it.
I have one eye on the clock as my work day is over in half an hour. QOTD: get the house completely finished after the big renovation work we did last year, travel more and ttc.
