Super cute dress!
I love buying holiday stuff for J. There is going to come a time when he's not going to want to wear a turkey on his butt during November, etc, so I'm getting it out of my system now. We have a l/s pumpkin t-shirt, halloween comfy pants and I'm making him a halloween themed one piece for October. We also have a turkey onesie/pant combo for November.

Just an FYI - I make a point to dress J in his holiday themed stuff for the entire month. Like Oct 1st, we're breaking out the trick or treating mice pants with gusto. Same thing for turkey butt pants and matching onesie come November. I like seeing him in it and it makes the whole month seem a bit more festive.

I am totally debating about buying one of those costumes for DS, he'll be 10 months old, his first Halloween.
But, he's in bed by the time trick or treating comes around so really, we're only talking about buying a costume so I can take a couple pictures of him in it. I just don't know if it's worth it.

What about the skeleton sleeper or two piece pjs? Then you can take pictures and he can wear them to bed (and you can get more use out of them). We brought DD home from the hospital last year on Halloween and she wore the pink skeleton sleeper home and I said it was her Halloween costume.

I looked at Carter's and didnt see any must have Halloween costumes. But target, on the other hand, had tons of cute costumes. I'm making my twins be lambs this year. I figure I can get away with it when they are just a year, but probably not when they are older. I did want the Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes from pottery barn kids, but $59 per costume seemed a bit steep.
Thank you so much for this!! I just spent $110 and bought 15 outfits (ranging from 12mo to 18mo) for my DS. I really couldn't pass up 3pc hoodie sets for $15.00 + 25% off that. Such great deals. Winter wardrobe done.
Last year I went totally nuts and got Lucy a personalized turkey shirt from Etsy LOL.
Same here. I actually got one on etsy for her 1st thanksgiving and she was such a chunk that she was also able to wear it the following year again since she had thinned out so much. Worth every penny!
We live in a condo building that is mostly adults, so there isn't trick-or-treating, and even if it was DD would probably be in bed. But I couldn't resist -- it's her first Halloween, and think of the pictures!!
