I hate being such a light sleeper. No matter what time I go to sleep I'm up as soon as I see daylight I am up. My damn bedroom has the darkest curtains but there's that space between the curtain and the wall for the light to filter in and that's enough space for light to come through to wake me up. So even though I went to sleep at 2 this morning I was up at 7:50. Plus we had a friend sleep over last night and I couldn't really sleep.
Semi S&B related but I broke my Best Da Ever Starbucks Cup on Friday. The kids in the neighborhood were throwing the football around outside so I was rushing to move the cars into the garage because we had parked them outside when we got home. We were getting stuff out of the attic and rearranging the garage once we got home. I parked too close to the wall and couldn't get in on the driver side. Decided just to crawl in through the passenger side and managed to knee the mug. I'm so sad. The good thing is it's still available online. So I'll probably re-order it. I have a tumbler problem.
We hung a bunch of things on the walls yesterday (big clock, mirror, art, pictures). It's amazing how much things on the wall make a house feel like home! One piece of art we purchased from Home Goods is crooked though and does not sit against the wall - it was $39 and I'm not sure they'll take it back without a receipt. We bought it a while ago and procrastinated hanging it. I guess the wood frame of the canvas is warped- I feel like I could command strip that side and it would stay down but H wants to return it.
Other than that, I am a week into a paleo diet and I have lost about 5 lbs woohoo! I don't talk about it on this board, but we're doing IVF in February so I am getting ready for that. Yesterday I was feeling a bit of carb withdrawal, but today is okay.

Good luck with IVF!
I've been cooking at home more and just taking leftovers for lunch and managed to lose 4 pounds last week. Its amazing how little changes can have such an impact. I told DH that once I finish off my cold SBux coffees (can't let them go to waste can I? I've probably got a few more cups left.) that I'd cut out coffee, sugar and alcohol for as long as I could. We'll see how long that lasts. My goal is at least 21 days. Why 21 days? No idea. Ha.
Eta: and the bringing leftovers for lunch is good bc then I don't have to go pick up lunch for the office. Which helps me save money too.
