So, I've never had my eyebrows done professionally. They're pretty thin, so I just pluck them myself. I haven't plucked recently and they're getting a little unruly looking (but not too bad b/c they are thin).
Would I benefit from getting them professionally done? I always saw it as unnecessary because they're thin, but I'm wondering if I've been missing out. I know the slightest change in your eyebrows can really improve your face.

It's worth it, they (most places) know what they're doing and it's amazing how much better they look. I like to have mine done professonally every so often and then I just keep it up at home. If I go too long, the shape gets goofy.
It's seriously worth it. I can keep them for getting too unkept at home with tweezers, but it's worth it to see a professional at least every 6-8 weeks to keep the arch in check. I've always had good luck at the Benefit BrowBar at Ulta. Mine charge $20, but everyone I've seen there has always done a great job.
I did not get my brows professionally waxed until I was in my mid-30s. Then I wondered how I went so long without waxing! Definitely worth the money! I was a plucker too but waxing really cleans it up so much better.

Get recs from someone local for a good place or check out Ulta's brow bar. I did mine once at a better salon where the girl didn't know what she was doing and she got wax on my eyelid. It bruised it and was not fun. It still like how mine look when they're done and I have thin brows. Waxing salons are good and fast for these things too since that's all those people do. My Mom had lost part of an eyebrow with a burn making one thick and one thin. I took her to the best waxing place in her area and they were identical and normal in under 10 minutes. She thought it couldn't be fixed based on losing the brow.
Not worth it to me. I am good at shaping my own brows, I'm just lazy about it.
That's kinda what I've thought too. My brows are pretty tame to begin with, so I just get the stragglers with a tweezers. I have thought about this too, OP...but I've been too scared that I'll end up with crazy looking brows (I've seen some botched waxing jobs before, no bueno!).
