I may need to have my head examined due to the fact that I signed up for a 5K (walk, run, or roll), which is in March. If everything goes according to plan, I will get my cast off tomorrow and start OT right away. So I will have 2 1/2 months of OT before this race. If it doesn't work out, my best friend is going to push me through it! Either way, I get all the awesome stuff that you receive just for signing up! Having something to look forward to and keep me motivated is hopefully going to really help my depression.
There is also a SB walk, run, roll in October (SB awareness month) that I am looking forward to doing. (tagging caramia just in case you want to make a trip back to my area )
This Monday is just not cooperating. -8 temp, had a very unwilling child leaving the, i missed the train and the bus so I ended up driving, can't shake this cold, I am fairly certain I'm in sinus infection territory.
I slept really well last night, which was a relief because I also napped during the day so I was worried I wouldn't be able to. But, I think the migraine that crept in around 8pm helped since I took my drugs and knocked out.
I want today to be over and tomorrow to be here because I am seeing Neil deGrasse Tyson and I am so thrilled. I am leaving work early and meeting up with some former coworkers to catch happy hour, then Vegas and his friends will join me and my friends for dinner and cupcakes from my favorite place that is near the venue. Then minds will be blown!

I slept until 11am! It was unintentional and now I'm having a hard time getting a start today. I need to go the library, go to the grocery store, stop by the apartment office, laundry, clean, cook, etc. But it's cold out and all I want to do is lay in bed!
My ankle is doing better, but so testy. Yesterday during the work event it hurt while standing, but I was able to walk to Barnes & Noble from the movies (short walk) and browse BN without issue. At home I crossed my legs in bed and my ankle was very NO. It's so picky on its healing journey, but hooray, it is healing!
My friend invited me to her bachelorette party the first weekend of March. It's a good goal date for me to work on my fitness health and food choices. And the party is in Nashville, so I won't have to travel, yay!

I'm trying to stay proactive in my job search quest and I have been taking some online free assessments as I'm not sure what I'd like to really do. I just know that it's time to get out of teaching.

awesome!! I love doing races, they have been great motivation and therapy for me over the past year. hope your OT goes well!
Today was definitely a Monday. I have a coworker who is a pain in the ass and she told our boss that she was waiting in a response from me even though it was sitting in her inbox. Yuck.
Taking off tonight, but tomorrow I've got to get myself in gear and really start producing so I don't fall behind.
They're calling for another winter weather advisory here. I kind of want a serious storm, but not really.
I'm totally emotionally spent from my last week and ended it with an overnight work meeting yesterday that included a 4.5 hour drive each way. I had like three calls I took on the road and now i'm doing some work. I'm doing the bare minimum then totally making that filet mignon I never got to on Friday. I plan to wake up bright and early and get going tomorrow. Let's hope that happens. At least the weekend included some great sex (to be clear, unrelated to work trip hahah)

Today was a holiday here so no work. I finally caved and started watching making a murderer and loved it.
My SIL has horrible back pain and she was in my place to I took her to the ER and my brother is now with her. It couldn't have come at a worse time as they are scheduled to leave for the Patagonia on Wednesday.
