wow, I didn't read all the rest of that crazy. That NICU thing is insane. You all know how pro natural birth I am and but there is no way I think NICUs do more harm than good. She is insane.

It's very odd- she's all about a primal diet but cooked meat makes her belly hurt. And she eats yogurt and straight up sugar, which I'm guessing "primal" folk didn't eat. And for goodness sake, chimpanzees mourn their dead, but primal people didn't??

Based on the replies here I am afraid to go and read more. The NICU talk is just crazy. I am all for breastfeeding and kangaroo care, but I certainly do not think that alone will solve every problem a newborn may have.
a 33 weeker, especially a boy, is likely to have respiratory needs. not using a NICU would be negligent IMO. It would probably get your hotlined honestly...
I can not imagine endig a marriage over what I ate and what he ate.
Nor can I. But if my husband went as crazy as this woman appears to be, I suspect I would leave. Who could put up with this level of nuts?
Oh I agree But from her POV it sounds like she gave up on HIM because he didn't follow suit. That shit be crazy. I would rather keep my warm snuggly husband and cooked meat TYVM.
Selfie is definitely over the top, but I think she is ultimately harmless. This woman seems much crazier, and some of her beliefs are potentially dangerous. I almost hate to lump them together.

Look, I'm a paleo mom and I had to stop reading when I read that her paleo baby never cried and slept through the night. Yeah... My baby screamed for a year straight, bf'ed til 14 months, and didn't sleep thought then night --ever-- until 16 months.
