Morning!!
We were lucky enough to see the Globe's production of Hamlet last night! They're doing it in every country, and it was finally our turn :-) Anyway, it went late, so I skipped my workout this morning. Oh well!
No plans for today - I'm at work, and just hoping the day goes by quickly!!! I'm tired and want to chill on the couch in my pajamas :-)
We ended up catching the end of it as we woke up on Tuesday. Obama has always been an amazing speaker, and this was no different. I'm a little nervous for the US as we head into the next election - there are some scary options!
QOTD: Very thankful for many things :-)
1. My husband. His birthday is this weekend we're celebrating! 2. Living in the land of delicious (And cheap) hummus, which I'll be eating for lunch 3. Thankful for my friends, who are always doing nice things for me :-)

No plans for today other than to clean up from last night's wine & cheese night, which was so much fun. I'll get some sort of workout in. And I have a one-off meeting with a client that used to live here who is visiting.
Didn't see Obama but read the CEP update on it (so glad they post things like that).
QOTD: 1. My husband - he's lovely and supportive 2. My dog - when I'm down, his lickies perk me up 3. My body - it's allowing me to do the things I want to do

Good evening!
No, no fun plans for Thursday or Friday. We were supposed to go to tea, but that got postponed until next week, so nothing exciting.
DH watched the whole State of the Union Address. I was in the room while it was on. I really expected a "go big and then go home" kind of speech, but the amount of clapping did not really indicate that was what it was -- and I really only noticed the clapping. But DH had a Twitter conversation with the pundit who was analyzing/decoding the speech for Australians over whether the address was actually required -- it's not constitutionally. And today the conversation ended with the fact checker admitting that DH was correct and in fact Carter was the most recent president to deliver the State of the Union by written message rather than by address to Congress. That was pretty cool, and I did not remember that, though to be fair, I was only 7 when Carter's presidency ended.
QOTD: >> The cooler weather and the rain, there were some bush fires along the route we have to travel on Saturday and the weather helped get them under control. >> That my computer is fixed and I can Skype again with my parents.

I was going to ask how your party went! I love wine and cheese! Best combo ever :-) Glad it went well :-)
Nothing fun here today, but it was still a good day. I can't watch SOTUs (or the vast majority of political speeches) because it makes my head explode to hear politicians' demagoguery. It doesn't matter what party gives the speech.
QOTD: -Travel opportunities while we're living here. I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to visit places here because I don't know that I ever would have seen them otherwise. -My DS2 is in speech therapy and I've noticed a big improvement lately. He has a long way to go but seeing his progress is really uplifting. -My DH has been so awesome about helping clean and organize even though he works a million hours.
