SNAPE IS DEAD!   Bowie and Rickman die at 69, yet Trump is in "perfect health."  Further proof life isn't fair.

Coverage opinion work is slow coming in after the holidays, so I am working on a case about Chat.  Just google Chat.  It is horrible.  I hate it.

I seriously teared up this morning over Alan Rickman, the next time I watch or read deathly hallows is not going to be pretty. I want to go home today and not be at work lol.

I had to let someone go at work yesterday and I am doing an investigation into something else that could result in another one. I hate weeks like this and typically have incredibly low attrition, so its hard for me and the team when they happen.

bl -one of my coworkers came in my office and was all, "Oh! You are here! I figured you would take the day off to grieve Snape."   I SHOULD HAVE!

I teared up when I found out Snape passed. He will always be Snape.

I got out of the hospital and I'm glad I'm home. Next week I sit down with the surgeon to schedule my tonsils coming out. I've read a bit online that it's going to be a very painful procedure and recovery. I'm not looking forward to it.

I was so sad to see the news of Alan Rickman. I loved him as Snape. He is Snape. But I also recently watched Galaxy Quest, and he is so phenomenal in that. And Hans Gruber! His work was so good. He could make you laugh, cry, hate, and love him - all in the same film sometimes!

I'm listening to HP on Audible right now, and this will definitely put a little more sadness into it.

I am just glad it is Thursday, which means it is almost Friday. I also know that today the Manager I spoke with about the job is meeting with the CEO to discuss the position. I heard from a little bird on the inside that I basically nailed the interview, now the manager is just needing to convince the CEO to open this role now vs. later. So fingers crossed

Yeah, I'm heartbroken about Alan Rickman. He was such a great actor and my quintessential idea of a silver fox. RIP.

My ankle is making me want to drink (and eat everything in sight). It is really bothering me today. It was almost 60F here and it would have been nice to go for a walk.

I came home and was actually productive for once. It feels nice, but now I'm done for the night so I can ice and elevate the ankle.

glitzyglow can you call your dr and ask to get a boot? That helped me so much because I was still able to go walking around and do things with it on without doing too much harm to it.
