Is this a real thing? I saw this on Groupon. The site now says "over 10,000 bought." WTF!!!! I feel like this should be an April Fools joke...
Clip In Man Bun For the Man Who Wears Many Hats, but No Bun
One of the hottest trends in men’s fashion, the man bun has been popularized by fixed-gear bicyclists and introspective Hollywood actors alike. But although the hairstyle oozes with fashion sense, those who sport it might find themselves outcasts in sports bars, motorcycle gangs, and the annual government-mandated machismo test. This attachable—and, equally important, detachable—man bun lets you blend in with your surroundings, putting it on when you smell fair-trade coffee or hear a banjo, and taking it off when someone utters the word bro. How To Wear It
Comb your hair back toward the crown of your head, in a similar motion to lacquering a reclaimed-wood coffee table Attach the man bun to your natural hair the way the lay public attached itself to Arcade Fire Use bobby pins to secure the man bun, decide bobby pins are too mainstream, use antique paper clips instead
Specifics
Attachable hairpiece Made of artificial hair Product dimensions: 3” (dia) x 1” (H)
Attach the man bun to your natural hair the way the lay public attached itself to Arcade Fire
Boring people declared they liked an indie-band once it became popular? (Apparently it's Canadian). Or like everyone deciding to be Nirvana fans only after Kurt Cobain's death. Or something...
All I "see" when I see the photo is "The Trouble with Tribbles".
I had a coworker who had the real thing with naturally curly hair. He could pull it off as a young 20-something. But at what point do you just cut your hair? If you wear it up every day maybe it's time to cut it.

It's been a thing in Europe for a few years now. Sigh. And too many guys cannot wear it and look decent. I think you have to have cut model cheekbones and be all tall and broad.
I'm ok with long hair on certain guys, it doesn't work for all. Not a fan of man buns though, sorry.
I think it's better in a low pony tail, but I also get the IDGAF man buns. Not a perfectly primped one and DEFINITELY not a hairpiece!
I'm dying at the possibility of some poor guy wearing one of these, attracting a girl, who then runs her fingers through his "hair" and it falls out. Then what?
