Comfortable to walk in sandal?

I'm going to Miami and Austin at the end of the month for work. I imagine Miami will be pretty warm and I'm planning my outfits. I need some kind of comfortable walking frinedly sandal...we will be doing ALOT of walking. I have cute Nike's (casual, not something you run in) as a backup and will likely wear on one day, but I need something a little dressier but comfortable to wear for hours of walking. Fairly neutral in color to go with several things.



I have my eye on the Birks Gizeh...will these still be popular this summer?

For the beach I recommend havainas or reefs.

Well, I should say we're shopping for hours. Lol...I shop for work. Likely we'll walk around South Beach and then any shopping centers/malls. We'll also be doing the Wynwood Walls.

I have flip flops (reefs for life!) but wanted something a bit nicer?

If you were thinkng Gizeh, I say go for it. Love mine and SO comfortable. Some people have a breaking in period but mine were good from the get-go.

I too love my gizehs.
I'm not very fashionable or stylish so NEVER fit in when in Miami so I wear what I like

I love my Gizeh sandals but don't usually reach for them in S Florida when we go. I usually wear my TB Miller sandals instead but they're definitely not as comfy

I live in my Olukai flip flops. I wore them all over India and they are my go to shoe when I am at Disneyland.

Just an FYI, the Birko-Flor is pleather. It is nice but I don't find it as comfortable at Birkenstock's leather. I have a pair of gizeh, yara, and arizona with the soft-footbed.

Many seem to like Gizeh but I have never found the thong part of the sandal comfortable (rigid). I do love my Mayaris! There is a thong part but the leather is soft

I agree that my Yaras are definitely more comfy on the toe than the plastic on the Gizeh.

Lurker here... I wore my gizehs all summer and in the fall I wore them to Disney and Universal. I got over 65,000 steps in 2 days and my feet felt fantastic. I highly recommend them and can't wait to buy another color this summer.

Sam Edelman Gigi sandal is pretty comfortable. I have 3 pairs and I've worn it while traveling and shopping!
