Help me decide; Toronto comiccon? Fly or Drive?

I'm debating on going to the Toronto comiccon. A friend of mine wants me to come visit, anyway. I'd be gone march 18th to the 22nd.

The question is, fly or drive?

On one hand, 8 hour drive each way, so that kills off two days, missing day 1 of the con, leaving me with only sat, sun, and mon to explore the city. However, I have my car! I can roam out of the city, if I wish.

Other option is fly. 600$ including room and flight, but this means I'm going to be free wheeling it with the subway. However, I also get those two days back.

Thoughts? Also, any one ever been?

I vote fly. Driving around the city is a giant PITA, parking costs a million dollars and transit is actually pretty useful.

I haven't been, but we did go to a Jays game last summer during one of the days of Fan Expo. The cosplay on the train was awesome.
