I guess I eventually unmatch them either a) because I don't want to see or talk to them again or b) I deleted the app for whatever reason. If I were seriously dating someone I would delete the app. If I'm dating someone and still using Tinder, I'd probably just stay matched until I made a decision either way. If you unmatch he'll come back up in your swipe options unless you block him.
I used to not unmatch and I would find myself checking when the last time they were on was and it was causing me anxiety and just completely unnecessary (for me), so now if I were to find myself back on Tinder I would absolutely unmatch after a date or two.

Tinder took away the feature that showed the last time they were online. I hate not knowing when they were last on! Are they active? Are they ignoring my message? But it also caused me anxiety knowing, lol. I can't be pleased!

That feature is still on my app. It tells me how long ago they were online when I look at their profile.

Then you haven't updated the app; my phone does it automatically.
It's definitely gone now. Other changes are they now show your college & current job/employer (pulled from Facebook) so remove those unless you're ok with it!
This week, based on a friend experience, we realized that even if you delete Tinder, your profile remains up. Anyone know how to permanently take it down. I guess it doesn't really matter since if you don't have the app, you will never swipe anyone, but still, it's weird.

Did your friend delete his/her profile first, and then delete the app? Or just delete the app?

Who can say...she said she deleted then removed the app...
jigsy I had originally just deleted the app and my profile was still there when I re-downloaded. The last time I went in and deleted my profile and it tells you it will be completely gone and have to be recreated if you ever come back, then deleted the app. I had to do the same on POF and OKC because otherwise your profile is still viewable even if hidden.
Wait...where can i see if someone viewed my profile?
You can't really.
In my example, my friend A had a co-worker, B who saw my other friend, C's Tinder profile and asked friend A to mention it to C since C didn't swipe right. C said that she deleted her account months ago, but somehow B could still see her.
But I don't know if C actually deleted the account, or just the app.
I think there are apps to see who has swiped right on you...

I did that once too. And we matched. Fortunately he never messaged me and I then unmatched him.
