The Bates are seriously whitewashed, and that irritates me, though it's not surprising in the least. At least they seem a bit more genuine than the Duggars, more engaged.

I enjoy that the Bates' actually seem to parent all their children. And their kids seem to actually have personalities.

I also enjoyed when Gil was teaching his not-at-all-gay-in-the-slightest son how to wrestle.

I am watching. It's oddly fascinating. I have so many questions they aren't answering!!

The Duggars pissed me off. I feel bad for the older girls. I can't imagine they are very thrilled to be 20ish years old still sleeping in the same room with all their sisters. And wtf were all Joy's looks about?

That kiss was fucking gross. At least watch a video beforehand dude.

I actually really like the Bates. They have personality. They aren't zombie kids like the Duggars have turned in to.

I can't wait for the Amish show either.

Totally agree. The parents seem to genuinely love their kids, and the whole family seem to like each other more than the Duggars. But they are still wacky.

Did the Bates transfer to another university? I thought Anderson was a 2 year when they were there.

Of course, they're not letting their kids go to an accredited college. Just Clown, I mean Crown.

The show said they pay 1.5x tuition.
