Morning, ladies!
I'm contemplating whether or not it is tacky to take your shoes off at your desk, provided your feet don't stink. Thoughts?
Anyone have any recommendations for a lipstick that will last all day, despite my best chewing efforts? I've been wearing covergirl outlast 24 hour, but I'm not thrilled with the color selection.
R got me a new day planner at Christmas (as he does every year) and I haven't used it yet. Embarrassing.

I take my shoes off at my desk sometimes and I also notice a co-worker does it sometimes too...NBD
So I ordered a new washer and dryer last night and I was able to get delivery tomorrow along with our man cave furniture since I'm working from home...Whoop Whoop!

I think it's fine to take shoes off as long as your legs stay under the desk.
and try Wet n Wild lipsticks (mega last I think they are called). I love them.

I don't wear lipstick, I usually require Carmex this time of year. I do like the Sephora Color Match gloss. It makes itself turn the perfect shade of pink for you. (I don't think that's the actual name for it, but I can find it online if you want.)
I also take my shoes off a lot at my desk, but usually in the summer when they're easy to slip off. I don't take off boots or tennis shoes though, too hard to get on and off. Sandals and flats I can slip on and off easily though. I sit cross legged in my chair, it's more comfortable that way. (I'm a grown child.)
Every time I get an email from my boss with a LIST of things for me to do and no acknowledgement of any emails I have sent him sends me into a slight rage spiral and it makes me want to scream. I have 4 pending time off requests dating back to December that he has yet to acknowledge either my actual email or the request from our paystub site. I'm still looking for something else, but nothing is coming up and I'm getting frustrated more and more again.

We're a high-heel office. Professional dress and heels, every damn day. My feet are NOT accustomed to wearing shoes all day, let alone heels. There's going to be a long-ass adjustment period. LOL
And UGH to no response from your boss on things. R used to have a boss like this - does yours also send an email then IMMEDIATELY walk to your desk (or call) to tell you all the information that also was in the email? R finally figured out that the guy just was email incompetent.

Yeah, I do not work in that kind of office lol. I don't think it's a big deal to slip them off under your desk if your desk isn't open in the front.
He is just... incompetent to a certain degree. I've rescheduled appointments HE has set, had to repeatedly ask him questions (both verbally and through email) and is generally flaky. I may speak to the executive director about how to CYA about his flakiness in email.
Lipstick - look for a matte formula. Mac is good, as is the sephora brand liquid matte lipstick. (I have other reqs, but they cost more than your current price point.)
When I had an office to go to I always took my shoes off at the desk. Heck I'd walk around the office without shoes on. Now that I work from home I'm in sweats all day.
Random: I picked up cinnamon roll oreo's today at the grocery store thinking we'd have them for the snow storm we're supposed to have... the bag is already opened and I may or may not have had a couple.

I don't have a price point if it's good and stays on.

Some of us used to keep slippers at our desks. Ha! It would probably about kill me to wear heels everyday now.
My random: I ordered the kitchen today! Flooring (lino) delivered tomorrow way ahead of schedule. Thanks munkii for the green building supply reco! Drywallers are making great progress and we got a painting quote that is great, so we won't have to do it!
