I can't sleep and I'm so close to raising the fridge. But, it's cold and I don't want to open the cold door, lol.

I am so psyched for a small storm here. I still have PTSD from this past winter.

I broke down and bought a new mac only they are telling me I can't transfer my MS apps over, I have to buy a new package. I may bring the entire thing back, I'm so pissed after spending almost $2K and they won't help me when they transferred it before just fine. Beyond pissed.

What's that?

It's a way to run Windows on a Mac, and all your pc crap will work then. I'm on the way to sleep, but you can email or text me a list of what you need to use and I'll see how I can help.

It's all actually the mac version so wouldn't need it. I used to run the parallels...anyway, it's all good on my pos broken mac but they won't transfer it over or they're saying they can't even though I own it all already. They want me to but an entirely new package which sounds ridiculous to me since I already own it, gah. I can access it on my old mac fine. I'm not a techie though. Text me tomorrow? I spent my entire day yesterday on this crap and my wifi, new router and modem. I'm ready to run into the sunset, lol. Nighty night!

I don't think you can transfer though as you've used the key before or at least that's what I was told!

Happy Friday! It's raining here and tomorrow it supposed to be in the 40s. I know, I'm a floridan. Anyways I got SwiftKey and can now text on my Droid.

Hanging out at home today since Nashville is having a snowpocalypse. I can't believe it's still snowing...it has been most of the day! I have a fire going and veggie pot pie in the crock pot...super cozy and I love it!

I ran on the treadmill for a total of 10 minutes yesterday and had no pain!! I felt so good afterward. Today I don't have pain from running, so I plan to do another 10 on the treadmill.

Last night, Vegas got down on one knee and gave me a ring.






Just kidding. Well - not really. He did do that. It was just a $1 replica ring from Harry Potter.

This morning, I decided I was going to be late for work since I had a lot to do before going out of town. I was thinking I'd be like an hour late - it was more like 3 hours late. Oh well - I am busting my ass for this place, so they can deal with me taking a few hours off in the morning. And it was glorious. I slept in a little, leisurely took care of last minute packing, cleaning up, and taking care of Jiggles. Plus I got two sex sessions in and some nice hang out time. Too bad I can't just get to work everyday at 11am. LOL

ETA: I have this horrible habit of chewing on the little tips of my hoodie strings when I am concentrating on something. I am wearing a new hoodie, and the little tips are metal...I keep biting them and I am half glad they are metal so I won't sit with a string in my mouth as I work, but I am half annoyed, because I keep doing it anyways, but it's metal and hurts.

Things I have to do this weekend:clean my house, go to a bridal fair for my sister.

Things I want to do this weekend: finish dr who before they take it off netflix Feb 1 and drink wine and sleep.

My ankle is much better today. I wore my air cast today and had my boot off and my foot propped up on a box under my desk most of the day.

It was announced today that my boss is leaving us for another department next month. So we're going back under boss lady (micro manager) until a new manager is hired. I had a good conversation with the boss from about 4:50-5:20. He was hinting at me possibly going for his position. Honestly, and I mentioned this before, I just don't think I'm management material. A lead or maybe a supervisor? Possibly. But a manager? Probably not. But he made me think I'm not seeing my full potential.

It's crazy how much my department has changed in the last 4 months. 1 retirement, 1 quit (because of boss man), 2 new hires (my new counterpart starts on Monday), and boss man leaving. I would LOVE to talk about me moving into a lead position since I'll now have the most seniority in the department, and a lot of what boss man helped out with will now all fall back on me.
