We had a wedding reception on Saturday and also knocked out some shopping while we were in that area. Yesterday I woke up feeling terrible and didn't do anything but wallow in my misery.
My boss is selling his business and with that he had lots of furniture to sell. He had 4 large wire wrack storage shelves. He gave them to me. My garage and basement are now very organized.

We only got 4" or so...so H broke in his new snow blower and I shoveled a tiny bit...
We had 2 sets of friends over so it was entertaining
I also got some painting done, and the man cave set up and broken in for the most part. I picked up my roman shades so those will need to be hung this week, cant wait for that!
It was a pretty good weekend, but it was really cold for Central FL. We had lows in the 30s and highs in the 40s with wind, so it was "feels like...(usually something in the low 30s)" most of the weekend. Brrr.
Saturday was both miserable (because of the cold wind) and really fun, because we met up again with our old friends who are in the area visiting right now. They are from Colorado and were cold because they hadn't brought anything appropriate for the temperature.lol
We all went to a Florida Highwaymen art sale in a nearby town, wandered through shops (fun stuff, but being warm and out of the wind was the best part-lol) and had Cuban food for lunch. We purchased a small giclee from the only female 'Highwayman.' One of the men kept telling everyone that he was the star of the movie coming out about them, and that James Earl Jones was going to play him. His paintings for sale were paintings that he had done for the movie, and the colors were a little different than his usual. He had t-shirts made in those colors, because he was sure everyone would want one of him. It would have been cute if he hadn't been kind of a jerk (which is kind of what I thought of him when we saw him last summer), and so loud and pushy. The other artists are very proud, but at the same time humble and very genuine. We had some nice conversations with a couple of the artists and their family members who help them sell their work.
The rest of the weekend we stayed in, groomed a couple of dogs and went through more boxes that still hadn't been unpacked. I am so tired of stuff and have put a lot in the donate boxes, but every now and then I find an old friend (or two or ten) in a box....something that I can't part with because I love it so much. We've been reminded of a lot of special moments in our lives as we go through these boxes. It's been fun.
