Proboards and Facebook?

Was it known that posts on Proboards can be shared on Facebook (and other sites)? I just stumbled upon it this morning and, while I have no issue with it really (but will be removing my siggie picture), I hadn't seen it mentioned before.

I saw some mention of it on another board. As when it came up on TN, I'm not all that worried.

Unlike TN, the FB (and other social media) share buttons are not dangerously close to the reply button. And also unlike TN, I read somewhere else that proboards asks/confirms if you're sure you want to post to FB and then you can delete if you post accidentally.
