It's Friday! Whatcha up to?

Poor S is home sick for the second day in a row. Thank goodness it's not a stomach virus, but she usually gets that in February. She has a low grade fever and is generally lethargic. She's bummed because her school is having a night at the local kids' museum tonight. And i'm on the organizing committee. Oy

Tomorrow will depend on how she feels. She's supposed to go to dance class and a birthday party. DH is away all day.

Sunday is an open house for the school she'll be attending starting next year. I hope she likes it.

I finished painting her bedroom, so hopefully we'll set up her bed soon and start moving her over.

This morning we had L's winter concert. And a fugitive was on the loose in my neighborhood. He escaped police custody but was cuffed at least?

We're skipping legoland tonight. C was invited to some karate thing by a school friend. L and I will just chill here and get Indian takeout.

I'm not sure what this kid was thinking, taking off handcuffed. Also I got 2 phone calls and 4 emails from the city about this; back off Jackie Rosetti!

DH and I are going to dinner and a movie in Kendall Square tonight. Since we've exhausted all the Best Picture noms we're interested in, we're seeing 45 Years. Tomorrow DH's band has a show in Cambridge and then Sunday night is the holiday party for the bar we hang out at/work.

Yesterday 25% of my department got unexpectedly laid off (I survived), so I'm glad this week is over.

My brother is getting married tomorrow! Hard to believe. Anyways, we are about 1.5 hours from home getting ready for the rehearsal. Of course throw in traveling with a newborn and this weekend should be really interesting. Lol.
