S was sick all weekend. We'd finally had enough yesterday and I took her to urgent care. As soon as we got there, she spiked a 103 fever and had a meltdown. Diagnosed with double ear infection, but all other ailments (flu, strep, pneumonia) were ruled out. After ibuprofen and some antibiotics, she bounced back to my happy girl by last night. Off to school she went today.
Since DH was gone all of Saturday I had to get out of the house. Saturday night my MOMS club did a clothing swap and cocktails. 2 of us in particular had a blast trying on all sorts of outfits, and the hostess's daughter (age 4) showed off every single princess dress she owns.
Yesterday was mostly shopping and errands, which included picking up the first of the Girl Scout cookies I ordered S was healthy enough to help me bake. I got a book on low-sugar baking from the owner of Flour, and her recipes are divine. I made breakfast biscuits with bacon and cheddar cheese. Just pop in the toaster, add butter and a drizzle of maple syrup, and it's breakfast heaven!
My weekend was good. Saw a movie (45 Years), went to DH's band's show on Saturday, and then out last night with friends. I also started my IVF injections yesterday! Egg retrieval should be on/around 2/19.

We took the kids skiing for the first time on Saturday morning. Then in the afternoon they had s birthday party. Sunday was swim. L puked right after his lesson, luckily not in the pool, so he's home with me today. We cleaned up and made the kids take it easy. We did plant some flowers with them.

My brother's wedding turned out really well. And DS was a champ and hung out in the carrier the whole night and hardly made a peep. He also did well sleeping in the hotel.
And I would just like to say I'm looking forward to the nice weather this week!
RockNVoll, he is such a good baby. We are so very lucky. He eats well and sleeps well. So overall I'm not too tired (I'm sure I will be when I have to go back to work in a few weeks though). I just can't get over how much he changes day to day.

RockNVoll They had a really good time. This coming weekend they're going from 9:30-3 and probably will the rest of the winter. D is really into getting them skiing.
