How was your weekend?

Mine was a blur!  I spent most of Friday at my new office (real estate) and that was pretty good.  We went out to dinner with DH's cousins and we had a good time.

Saturday I worked at the studio for 5 hours!  URGH!  We ran errands and then went to our bff's for drinks and food.

Sunday I went to an open house and then just chilled out at home after.

Mine was great! Friday I met my friend at the new bar near us. It was empty, but the drinks were awesome. Her fi met us there and we ordered Thai takeout to eat there.

Saturday I met my bro and his gf at the train station for her bday celebration. We had Mediterranean tapas & wine for lunch, then walked around Little Italy for a while. Cabbed over to the winery in Brooklyn and did a tasting. There is a place near there that only makes key lime pie, so we stopped there after and it was so good. Later we did wine/cheese/charcuterie at a favorite spot in my neighborhood, and then dinner at a little Italian place in the next neighborhood over.

Sunday we went out to breakfast and then I took them to Brooklyn Flea/Smorgasburg because for the winter they are doing it inside at a place that is only a 15 min subway ride away. After they left, I just hung out, finished (well, caught up to the current episode) of Shameless and relaxed.

Glad you had some relaxation moments between all the work stuff!

Mine was pretty good! Friday the girls' night out was really fun and we discussed possibly doing it every other month so we can stay in touch more often! And I mentioned that "adult summer camp" idea and at least 2 of them were totally on board for something like that so we might even see which kind of deals are around here for that kind of thing.

Saturday we took the dogs for a long walk, ran a few errands, then had dinner with our friend & went out to see that band I had in mind. Everyone had a good time out so I'm glad my arm-pulling paid off on getting the guys to go out with me! The only bummer was a girl friend of mine was going to go as well and her sitter bailed so she couldn't make it. BRE...

Yesterday we slept in, had lunch with BFF and her husband for crawfish, oysters & beers, and then just relaxed at home. We did get the dogs bathed finally, since the weather has been so nice and they were really overdue for it. They smell fantastic now, if only that lasted forever!

My weekend was good. Spent lots of time with family. 

My brother and his family left right after breakfast on Sunday, so H and I had the rest of the day to ourselves. I napped then we went for a long walk since it was warm. The rest of the day was chores and errands.

MH was sick so we didn't do too much this weekend. Unfortunately, because I have a lot to do now this afternoon. I did get a couple boxes packed up so that's good! Relaxed, napped, grocery shopped and that's about it!

Well, the instructor claimed to have experience, but she was kind of a hot mess.

Yep, I have another audition next Saturday and am meeting with a 3rd instructor on Friday.  I can also teach it, but I really don't like to!
