So yesterday marked 6mths together with my BF. Obviously, not a "real" anniversary, but I wanted to acknowledge it so I got him a card and just wrote a little something in it. Well, after I gave him the card, his demeanor kind of changed and he looked really sad. I thought, crap! Too much Sparkles, too much. Turns out he was upset with himself for not getting me something even though he had thought about it earlier in the day. So not why I gave him the card, I was never, ever expecting anything.

Anyway, a bit after that we stopped at Home Depot on our way to dinner so I could grab something. I got what I needed but he said he had to run to the bathroom so I said I would meet him at the car. He came out with a bag a few minutes later and handed it to me and said "Happy 6 month-iversary". It was a screwdriver/socket set that I had been eying up the week before. We are so good for each other its scary, because I loved the gift LOL

LOL I just realized that I forgot the second part of this story. So, after I thanked him for the tools, he said "but what, there's more" and in fact there was something else in the bag. I reached in and pulled out..........wait for it....................wait for it...................a toilet paper holder! Haha Mine broke a few months ago and I never got around to replacing it, so apparently that makes a good "anniversay gift"
