I will not be planning on going anywhere after 30 weeks....but I was on bedrest with M and don't want to deal with the hassle of canceling stuff. If you are having a healthy pregnancy I think most docs let you travel up to 34ish weeks

With L, I drove 3ish hours for a work thing at about 37 weeks pregnant. I was with co-workers and we had plans if something were to happen. I had doctor permission.
With A, I didn't travel that far, but only because it didn't come up. I went about 90 miles away at 36ish weeks.
I was 33/34 weeks pregnant at my brother's wedding. I went because he is my brother, I trust NY hospitals and if I'd gotten stranded there on hospital bed rest we could make it work (SIL's family would have put up DH and/or my mom as long as necessary). I flew non-stop because I didn't feel the same way about some random layover city. But babies come early in my family. My mom was born at 32 weeks.
Obviously, this is different btwn pregnancies, too. I had no issues or complications.
My last work trip (a 2.5 hour flight to go walk around club stores for a day!) had me landing back home at 36w1d. My doc didn't want me doing any more travel after that. And, in preparation for that trip, told me what hospital in Boston to go to if I needed one.
I traveled home at 35 weeks and it wasn't very comfortable so that's my personal cut off for car travel. Flying see your what your OB and the airlines say.
It all came down to insurance for me. If I traveled after the 36 week mark and had the baby, I would have to pay out of pocket for it.
Do you plan on flying? If so, ask before booking to ticket if they have restrictions. I've been told that some airlines won't let a pregnant woman fly after a certain amount of weeks because of the risk of midflight birth. (Not 100% but worth checking out)
I'm flying at 29/30w (cross-country), and again at 33/34w (2 hr flight). My OB is fine with it, though she does ask that I carry my medical records with me just in case.
I flew for work at 32 weeks. Short 1.5 hour flight. I had the magical unicorn of easy pregnancies and that was by far the worst day I experienced. Luckily the flight attendants took pity and bumped me up to business class for the return flight home. I refused to fly for work after that.
I think their standard answer was 36 weeks, but my OB limited travel due to early contractions. You might have to see how your body is tolerating everything and definitely ask your doctor.
Going to a relatively big city, anywhere that wouldn't require a long drive to get medical attention if necessary, I'd be fine with it up to 36 weeks, personally.
